PBravado
Spellcasts empower Taric's next 2 basic attacks to deal bonus magic damage, reduce his spell cooldowns, and attack in quick succession.
the Shield of Valoran
Taric is proof that a support can be simple to learn and still swing entire teamfights. A melee, mana-fueled protector played primarily in the support role with occasional top lane appearances, he pairs one of the friendliest difficulty ratings in his class with a strong defensive statline — a champion whose power comes from timing rather than mechanics.
His kit runs on a rhythm set by Bravado: every spellcast empowers his next two basic attacks to deal bonus magic damage, reduce his spell cooldowns, and strike in quick succession. This weave — spell, two attacks, spell — is the engine of everything he does, because those empowered hits also bank charges of Starlight’s Touch, his charge-based heal for nearby allies. Bastion adds a second layer: it passively grants armor, actively shields an ally, and crucially makes Taric’s spells cast from that ally as well, effectively giving him two casting positions on the map of the fight.
Dazzle readies a delayed beam of starlight that stuns, and casting it through a Bastion-linked ally creates stun angles opponents struggle to track. The payoff is Cosmic Radiance, which after a delay makes nearby allied champions outright invulnerable for a short duration — an ultimate that, timed into an enemy’s committed engage, simply cancels their teamfight.
Taric rewards patient, team-first players who enjoy reading fights a few seconds ahead: the skill is not in executing combos, but in knowing exactly when those few seconds of invulnerability will break the enemy’s back.
