Soraka

Soraka is the purest healer League of Legends offers — a support whose value is measured not in kills but in the deaths that never happened. With an attack rating of just 2, she strips the role down to its essence: keep allies alive, everywhere on the map, at any cost.

That cost is literal. Astral Infusion converts a portion of Soraka’s own health into healing for a friendly champion, meaning her health bar is a shared team resource. She refuels it through Starcall, a falling star that damages and slows enemies and restores her Health whenever it strikes an enemy champion. This creates her signature loop: to keep healing her carry, she must step forward and land skillshots on dangerous opponents. Salvation supports the whole cycle by speeding her toward low-health allies precisely when they need her most.

Silence, then a wish

Equinox gives her real teeth against divers and casters — a zone that silences every enemy inside and roots those still standing in it when it expires, shutting down engages before they begin. Her ultimate, Wish, is unique in scope: an instant, global heal for herself and every allied champion at once. A well-timed Wish rescues a teammate mid-dive on the other side of the map or flips a teamfight where both sides are at execute range.

Soraka is ideal for players who read health bars like a story and get genuine satisfaction from denial — the kill the enemy team was promised and never received.
