the Sad Mummy
Simplicity is Amumu’s greatest asset. With a difficulty rating of just 3, he delivers some of the most reliable area crowd control in the game, which is why he shows up as a tank in support and top roles as well as his traditional jungle home. His plan never changes: land Bandage Toss, arrive, and press R at the right moment.
Bandage Toss is the whole game in one button — a skillshot bandage that stuns the target and pulls Amumu to them, serving as both engage and gank tool. Once he is in the fray, Despair drains a percentage of nearby enemies’ maximum health every second, making him surprisingly effective against tanky compositions, while Tantrum passively reduces the physical damage he takes and actively pulses damage around him, with its cooldown refunded every time he is hit. The more enemies focus the mummy, the more Tantrums he throws.
Curse of the Sad Mummy is a teamfight-defining ultimate: every enemy around him is wrapped in bandages, damaged, and stunned simultaneously. Paired with any follow-up AoE damage, a single good ult can decide a game. His passive, Cursed Touch, quietly amplifies all of this — his basic attacks curse enemies to take bonus true damage from magic sources, boosting not just his own AP-scaling kit but every mage on his team.
Amumu suits players who want teamfight impact without mechanical overhead: hit one skillshot, soak damage, and let the curse do the rest. His main weakness is predictability — miss the bandage and he has no second engage.

QAmumu tosses a sticky bandage at a target, stunning and damaging the target while he pulls himself to them.
WOvercome by anguish, nearby enemies lose a percentage of their maximum Health each second and have their Curses refreshed.
EPermanently reduces the physical damage Amumu would take. Amumu can unleash his rage, dealing damage to surrounding enemies. Each time Amumu is hit, the cooldown on Tantrum is reduced.
RAmumu entangles surrounding enemy units in bandages, applying his Curse, damaging and stunning them.
