PMana Surge
Xerath's basic attacks periodically restore Mana. Whenever Xerath kills a unit, this cooldown is reduced.
the Magus Ascendant
Few champions punish poor positioning as brutally as Xerath. An artillery mage played mid and support, he carries a 10 magic rating with just 1 attack and 3 defense — the archetypal glass cannon who wins by never letting the enemy reach him. Every ability in his kit outranges standard engagement distances, so his game is one of geometry and prediction rather than trading blows.
Arcanopulse fires a long-range beam through all targets in a line, his bread-and-butter poke that chips enemies down before fights even begin. Eye of Destruction drops a barrage on an area, slowing everything inside and hitting the center hardest, which pairs naturally with the beam: slow first, then land the guaranteed follow-up. Shocking Orb is his single defensive and setup tool, a projectile that stuns — the ability that decides whether an assassin’s dive succeeds or ends in a lost kill window. His passive, Mana Surge, refunds mana through periodic empowered basic attacks, sustaining his relentless spell rotation in lane.
His ultimate immobilizes Xerath and grants a series of extremely long-range barrages, letting him shell fights, sieges and recalling enemies from well beyond the edge of the screen. Rooting himself is a real cost, so the skill lies in choosing safe firing positions.
Rated 8 in difficulty, Xerath is entirely skillshot-based — nothing in his kit locks on. He belongs to players who relish landing long-range predictions and dismantling enemies who never get to fight back.

QFires a long-range beam of energy, dealing magic damage to all targets hit.
WCalls down a barrage of arcane energy, slowing and dealing magic damage to all enemies in an area. Targets in the middle receive additional damage and a stronger slow.
EDeals magic damage to an enemy and stuns them.
RXerath immobilizes himself and gains numerous long-range barrages.
