The developers of Jurassic World Evolution 3: Rebirth will challenge players to completely rethink their approach to powering prehistoric parks—the upcoming simulator will introduce advanced geothermal power plant mechanics. The new system will force managers to abandon traditional power pylons and gas generators in favor of underground steam vents on the island of Île Saint-Hubert. Updating the infrastructure will require precise planning of pipelines and distribution networks, as simply “stringing wires” will no longer be an option.

How geothermal energy works in Jurassic World Evolution 3

Hidden within the new location of Île Saint-Hubert are powerful sources of high-pressure thermal steam. This resource will become the foundation for powering the research facilities. The generation scheme is as follows: natural steam is captured by special “Geothermal Supply” stations, after which it is redirected under pressure through pipes to generators, which then power buildings or enclosures within a certain radius.

An important detail: constructing new supply nodes from scratch is prohibited—at the start of the mission, players have a fixed number of points available on the map. Each such station has a basic output of 32 units. To scale production and power additional buildings, the basic nodes will need to be systematically upgraded, increasing their energy efficiency.

Geothermal Power System Construction Instructions

To successfully launch eco-generation on Ile Saint-Hubert, you will need to master several mandatory network design steps:

  • Generator placement. Secure the structure on the terrain so that the yellow coverage area completely covers the target objects and dinosaur enclosures.
  • Pipeline installation. Connect the installed generator directly to the Geothermal Supply source using dedicated geothermal piping.
  • Use branch pipes. When expanding your fleet and installing additional generators, you’ll need to connect them to a single supply station via branch pipes.

  • Optimization and reconfiguration. You can easily remove old pipes to install new branch pipes and power new zones. The key is to maintain balance and not exceed the generated power limit, otherwise the entire network will immediately shut down.
