Opening the Aksumite Door at the Subnautica 2 Observatory is a task without which there can be no finale in early access. At least for now. And yes, this is not a walk: the door requires a serious investment of time and resources. The first step is to start the Karakorum power plant. To do this, in turn, find and clean the Comb angel right in its center, and then fix the turbine.

Cleaning of the Angel Comb at Karakorum station
Exact coordinates: 1760 meters east-northeast (75 degrees) from the escape capsule, the depth is 425 meters. In fact, the process is the same as with the previous Combworm — you need to remove the infection with marine Flower nodules.
There is one detail. The nodules of this specimen close as soon as you get closer. You can’t do it without special training. We will have to upgrade the Sound Resonator to a reflected wave Resonator — this is done at a Modification station.
The upgrade allows you to shoot at nodules from a distance without letting them snap shut. Two such nodules sit right next to the Comb, but it is better to touch them last. First, you need to deal with three deleted Flower nodes — each of them is infected with a pair of nodules. As soon as the knot opens, it means that you have done everything correctly and you can move on.

By the way, the purple roots of the Titanic Stonecutter serve as excellent pointers. Follow them and you will find all the infected points.

Where can I find a drawing of a reflected wave Resonator
It will take two scans for the recipe to appear at the Modification Station. There are more points in the game, but here are two guaranteed spots.
Drawing of the Resonator in the wreckage of the ship
2,030 meters east of the escape pod, 200 meters deep. The scanner lies right inside the wreckage.
Scanning in the area of Metal Extractors
2120 meters east-northeast (85 degrees) from the capsule, the depth is 470 meters. Look at the northwest edge of the bottom, next to the research table. Just be careful: there are plenty of sea creatures around, and a Leviathan collector periodically sails over the area. For this place, you will need improved depth modules for the Tadpole — you cannot dive without them.
After scanning, we assemble the Reflected wave Resonator: a sound resonator, two Enameled glasses, two Conductive crystals and two Strontium. That’s it — you can return to the Comb and methodically shoot the nodules from afar.
How to destroy all Flower Nodes in Subnautica 2
The first node is hidden under the Observatory tower. Coordinates: 1175 meters due east of the escape pod, depth 180 meters. Swim into the cave directly under the main tower. The entrance is at the back — go around the structure and you will find it. There are two Flower knots inside. You destroy — and on.

The second one is at the base of the south—southwest “ray” dome of the Power Plant. The coordinates are a little trickier here: 1516 meters east-southeast (100 degrees), depth 305 meters. There is one Flower node at the very point, and two more next to it. If your eyes run away, follow the purple roots of the Titanic Stonecutter. They won’t let you down.
The third node is located near the crash site of the Cicada, which lies northeast of the Angel Ridge. 2,150 meters due east of the capsule, 320 meters deep. The landmark is the stonecutter’s root, extending northeast from the Ridge. When the root hits the rock wall, climb up. That’s where the chip will be. You sneak inside, through the ruins, and you find yourself in a cave inside a rock. The desired node and its Floral “companions” are hidden there.

Crucial point: take your time to shoot at the two nodules that sit next to the Comb Angel itself. First, deal with the three remote nodes. And only then come back and finish off your neighbors.
Repair of a broken turbine at Karakorum station
The comb has been cleaned and tampered with. Now look at the southeastern wall of the cliff. At a depth of about 400 meters, you will find the first turbine control point. The entrance is on the left, through the hole. You swim, click on the panel, and activate it.
After that, the Hot Stream starts. Get out of this point and swim up. The second control point is waiting at a depth of 200 meters. There are three terminals there. First, scan the hand on each one. Then you return to the rear left terminal. Interact with the dials and levers until everything turns green. Then press the central button and the terminal is ready. Go to the right one and do the same.
But don’t press the main button on the right terminal right away! First, swim up to the Hot Stream — literally five meters from the control point — and scan the Turbine. The scanner will show that it is broken and needs to be repaired with materials. Open the Builder, aim at the Turbine. List of required:

-
10x Titanium Ingots
-
10x Strontium
-
10x Ingots of Manganese steel
Where can I get it? Everything is created in the Processor at your base. To get what you need, you will need to dig up: 60x Titanium, 10x Atacamite, 10x Troilite and 20x Celestine. Yes, it’s an adventure. But there’s nowhere without it.
When everything is extracted and melted down, go back to the Turbine and fix it with a Builder. After the repair, go back to the *Upper Control Room*, complete the activation of all terminals. The power plant will come to life, and the PDA will happily announce that electricity has been restored.
How do I open the Aksumite door at the Observatory
There is food. We return to the Aksumite door in the main tower of the Observatory, next to the control point of the Alien ruins. Inside, there is an object for interaction in the center of the room. Press — the door opens.
Come on in. Get out the Scanner. In the center of the hall is a Model of the solar system. You’re scanning it. The PDA immediately sends the data to NoA. But do not rush to find out what exactly flew away. Look around: there are three holes in the center of the room. Go up through any of them. There’s a second room. And there’s another pen—like plant in it. You interact. The plant will show key information and give a hint of what lies ahead. And immediately the PDA will issue a notification: you have completed all available early access content. So far, so far. Next— just wait for updates.

Mistakes in completing the Karakorum Station quest
Error destroying nearby Combjelly nodes
The stupidest (and most frequent) waste of time is to rush to the two appendages right next to the Angel Crest at the Karakorum location. Yes, they loom right in front of your nose, but you absolutely must not touch them at the start. The game here does not forgive haste. Until you clear the three deleted Flower Nodes, the system simply won’t count the progress. The algorithm of actions here is ironclad: first we eliminate the three outer appendages, and only then we finish off the nearby ones.
Premature activation of the right terminal
When you get to the Upper Control Room, you will see two consoles. Everything is clear with the left one — they poked and swam on. But the right one beckons you to press the main button all the way down. Don’t even think about it. If you activate the panel before visiting the Hot Stream location (where you need to enlighten the Turbine with the Bioscanner tool), the repair quest will not fall into your PDA. The result is natural: you will have to ship the old save. The rule is simple. First, we scan the Turbine, then press the button.
Karakoram Turbine Repair Material List
Did you sail to fix machinery with empty pockets? Get ready to throw 15-20 minutes of real time into the dreary backtracking to the base. To close the Turbine repair, you will need 10 Titanium ingots, exactly 10 Strontium Ingots, and in addition 10 manganese steel Ingots. In its raw form, this cargo looks like this: 60 Titanium, 10 Atacamite, 10 Troilite and a hefty 20 Celestine. My advice is to melt all this ore in advance, even before descending to the station.
A bug with obtaining Axumite Sight through a glitch
Fans of breaking sequens often get into a mess here. If you pull out the Axum Vision perk (aka Axum Vision) to bypass the plot with the help of bugs, the NOA AI assistant will stupidly stop giving out markers. Visually, the consoles seem to be responding, but the promotion script is stuck. How to treat it? We’ll have to clean all eight Flower Nodules honestly according to the developers’ idea, even if the ability is already in your pocket. If the NOA continues to be silent, dig into the PDA (the signal may go into hidden beacons).
The Observatory’s Secret Early Access Finale
You got to the Observatory compartment, illuminated the object with a Model of the solar system (aka Ornery), received a ping from NOA and with a clear conscience swam to the exit. I shouldn’t have. This is not the final yet. Raise the camera in the center of the hall — there are three gaping passages to the upper tier. It is in the second room, where the strange “hilt” plant grows, that the real ending of the current build is hidden. There lies an important ent: the transmission of Axum about the mysterious Xanadu and entities known as Crypters. Without this trigger, your PDA will not display the final content completion screen.
