Running at the enemy team and daring them to chase is not a mistake on Singed — it is the strategy. This mana-based tank, playable top or mid, deals almost all of his damage through Poison Trail, a toggle that leaves a stream of damaging gas behind him. That inversion of normal combat means Singed is often strongest when he appears to be fleeing, dragging pursuers through poison while his team collapses on the chaos.

His supporting tools punish anyone who takes the bait. Mega Adhesive coats the ground in a slowing, grounding zone that disables enemy dashes. Fling hurls a target over his shoulder into the space behind him, and a flung enemy who lands in the adhesive is rooted — the classic combo that deletes an overextended carry by depositing them under a turret or in the middle of Singed’s team. His Noxious Slipstream passive grants a burst of movement speed when passing near champions, friend or foe, keeping him permanently faster than the people trying to catch him.

Proxy pressure and Insanity Potion

Insanity Potion supercharges his combat stats and makes his poison apply Grievous Wounds, enabling long, drawn-out brawls and his signature macro pattern: farming waves between towers or deep in enemy territory to warp the map around himself.

Singed offers no ranged threat and struggles against disciplined opponents who simply refuse to chase. He is built for contrarians — players who love unorthodox macro, tilting opponents into bad decisions, and winning games through relentless, poisonous persistence.
