PDeathbringer Stance
Periodically, Aatrox's next basic attack deals bonus magic damage and heals him, based on the target's max health.
the Darkin Blade
Aatrox is a drain-tank fighter for the top lane, one of the more approachable bruisers in the game, whose power is concentrated in landing the sweet spots of a single ability. The Darkin Blade lets him swing his greatsword three times, each cast with a different area of effect, and chaining all three onto an opponent is the difference between a losing trade and a devastating one. Rather than mana, he uses a Blood Well resource, so his laning is gated by cooldowns alone.
Infernal Chains is his setup tool: it smashes the ground, and champions hit must escape the impact zone quickly or be dragged back to the center and damaged again — effectively a delayed pull that guarantees follow-up sword hits on anyone without mobility. Umbral Dash provides a short repositioning dash on demand while passively healing him for a portion of the champion damage he deals, forming the core of his sustain.
Deathbringer Stance periodically empowers a basic attack with bonus magic damage and healing based on the target’s max health, which keeps his trades efficient even against tanks. World Ender is the win condition: he takes on his demonic form, fearing nearby minions and gaining attack damage, movement speed and greatly increased healing, with takedowns extending the transformation — so a fed Aatrox can chain the effect through an entire teamfight.
He offers frontline damage, pick potential and one-versus-many staying power, appealing to players who enjoy rhythmic, spacing-based melee combat where each sword swing’s positioning matters more than complex combos.

QAatrox slams his greatsword down, dealing physical damage. He can swing three times, each with a different area of effect.
WAatrox smashes the ground, dealing damage to the first enemy hit. Champions and large monsters have to leave the impact area quickly or they will be dragged to the center and take the damage again.
EPassively, Aatrox heals when damaging enemy champions. On activation, he dashes in a direction.
RAatrox unleashes his demonic form, fearing nearby enemy minions and gaining attack damage, increased healing, and Move Speed. If he gets a takedown, this effect is extended.
