PDrakehound's Step
Entering an attack or movement command while casting an ability will cause Ambessa to dash a short distance once the ability is cast, granting her next attack bonus range, damage, and attack speed, and refunding energy.
Matriarch of War
Rated at maximum difficulty, Ambessa is an energy-based fighter-assassin for top or mid whose power lives entirely in her movement. Drakehound’s Step lets her dash a short distance after every ability cast simply by inputting an attack or move command, empowering her next attack with bonus range, damage, and attack speed while refunding energy. Mastering her means chaining these micro-dashes fluidly — every rotation is ability, dash, empowered hit, repeat.
Her spells are built to feed that loop. Cunning Sweep arcs her twin drakehounds in a semicircle with bonus damage on the blades, and connecting transforms the next cast into Sundering Slam for a follow-up. Lacerate damages and slows everything around her, and dashing out of it triggers a second strike at the end of the dash. Repudiation is her defensive beat: a shield and a brace, then a ground slam that deals increased damage if she blocked non-minion damage while bracing — a parry-like tool that rewards reading enemy cooldowns.
Public Execution is a dramatic finisher: Ambessa blinks to the farthest enemy champion in a chosen line, suppresses them on arrival, and slams them into the ground, stunned. It is both an assassination tool and a flank-opener onto backline carries. With an attack rating of 9 but defense of only 2, she is a glass blade — players who enjoy combo-heavy, animation-cancel-style champions with relentless aggression will love her; anyone who fumbles the dash tempo will simply die.

QAmbessa sweeps her twin drakehounds in a semicircle in front of her, dealing bonus damage to enemies hit by the blades. Striking an enemy will transform the next cast of this ability for a short period of time, causing her to slam her twin drakehounds down in a line in front of her, dealing bonus damage to the first enemy hit.
WAmbessa gains a shield, briefly braces herself, and then slams the ground to damage nearby enemies. If she blocked any non-minion damage while bracing herself, this ability will deal increased damage.
EAmbessa whips her twin drakehounds around herself, damaging and slowing nearby enemies. Initiating Drakehound's Step from this ability causes her to strike a second time at the end of its dash.
RAmbessa blinks to the farthest enemy champion in a line of her choosing and suppresses them upon her arrival. She then slams the enemy into the ground where they take damage and are stunned.
