Far Far West is a game that’s loaded with mechanics from the get-go. In this mess of missions and endless leveling, it’s easy to waste upgrade slots on stats that sound cool but have little effect in real-world action. Some upgrades dramatically change the smoothness of a run, while others are best left alone until the build begins to take shape.

The Prestige system opens up even more progression opportunities after level 100. Whether you want to survive longer or spam spells nonstop, knowing where to invest points becomes critical. Here’s everything you really need to know.

Where can I find NPCs to level up stats in Far Far West?

Approach the glowing green NPC on the right side of the road in the lobby (near the train for the starting mission). There, you can spend your slots to increase your stats.

How can I quickly get and use upgrade slots?

Slots are earned by leveling up during the game. Experience Tickets help you accelerate—they grant three levels at once. You can store up to 20 slots at a time, but holding them in reserve is usually a bad idea: spend them as they become available.

Overview of all five character stats and their effectiveness

There are five in total.

Far Far West upgrades

  • Ammo Pouch — more ammo carried.
  • Health — more maximum HP in missions.
  • Spell Cooldown Reduction — less waiting time between casts.
  • Speed — run faster.
  • Jump Height — jump higher.

Recharge is probably the most underrated option. Jump Height, however, isn’t useful in every situation (and that’s no exaggeration).

Upgrade Priority: The Best Upgrades for Combat Survival

All five upgrades are useful in their own way, but the gap between them is huge. Health, spell cooldown, and speed—that’s the holy trinity. Invest in them without hesitation.

Far Far West combat

  • Health – Increases maximum HP in missions. Allows you to stay alive in a crowd of enemies and survive difficult fights. Priority: High.
  • Spell Cooldown Reduction – Cast abilities significantly more often. This directly boosts both damage and survivability. Also a high priority.
  • Speed – Run, dodge, and reposition faster. In tight fights, moving is vital. High priority.
  • Ammo Pouch – Increases ammo capacity. Only works if you’re building a weapon-focused build and taking on long missions. Priority: Medium.
  • Jump Height – Helps you explore locations and move a little more maneuverably. It’s of little use in real action. Priority: Low.

Prestige System at Level 100: Tokens and Slot Bonuses

Once you reach level 100, Prestige is unlocked in the same upgrade menu. The mechanics are simple: you continue leveling up even after reaching the cap. Each Prestige level grants 5 tokens, which you spend on bonuses.

Here are all the options (cost in tokens):

  • Joker Slot – 5
  • Upgrade Slot – 2
  • XP Ticket – 1
  • 500 Gold – 1
  • 1000 Souls – 1

How to get a Joker Slot and max out your character?

You can only get one Joker Slot and a maximum of two upgrade slots per Prestige level. The rest is spent on currency and tickets. But a smart strategy is to first unlock all available slots, then burn tokens for gold and souls. By the way, weapons are upgraded separately, up to 10 times.

The Prestige system in Far Far West is surprisingly friendly. You don’t lose any accumulated upgrade slots or level progress—everything stays with you. There are essentially no downsides. Once Prestige becomes available, you can and should take it without looking back.

And since the cap is at level ten, Prestige becomes the foundation for long-term growth. It’s one of the best ways to push a character beyond the standard limits.
