Exploring Hetereo and battling anomalies is fun alone, but Neverness to Everness is designed for group play. Co-op is available, though not everyone knows it exists. Fortunately, unlocking it is fairly straightforward—if you know where to look.
Many players get confused: where is the “Co-op” button? We’ll let you in on a secret: multiplayer is only available after reaching Hunter level 8. Experience levels increase quickly: complete daily quests and simple tasks, which are refreshed daily. No hours of grind—you can do it in a couple of evenings.

Adding Friends to Your Contact List by UID

Once you’ve reached level 8, open the in-game phone (icon in the upper right corner). Look for “Friends”—you can manage your list there. Click “Add Friend” in the lower right corner, and the system will ask you to enter your UID. Your friend’s ID is displayed in the lower left corner of their screen—request it and send an invitation.
Instructions for Starting Multiplayer in NTE

Did your friend accept the request? Great. Now, select the “Multiplayer” section on your phone and send an invitation to join your world. There’s an important caveat: both players must be on the same server. Cross-server play is not yet available in NTE. The second requirement is that your friend must also have unlocked Hunter level 8. Without this, multiplayer won’t activate.
After all these steps, you’ll find yourself in a shared world. Up to four people can play in a single session—form a team and clear anomalies together. What else do you need to be happy? Maybe stock up on ammo.
Available Activities for Co-op Mode
Features of Shared Farming and Loot Sharing
A maximum of four people can be in a group. The system won’t allow more. The good news: everyone gets their own loot. No one will steal your loot, even if your friend gets to the anomaly’s corpse first. Feel free to grab what’s yours.
What activities are available for co-op play? The list is impressive, although not everything.
Completing Quests and Anomalies Together
-
Side Missions—certain optional tasks—can be completed together. However, story episodes, tutorial quests, and spin-offs—no, they’re strictly solo. There’s nothing you can do about that.
-
Anomaly Tasks—even if you’ve already filled your card index in your world, nothing stops you from helping a friend. In return, you’ll receive consumables and resources for upgrading the anomaly’s furniture. A small thing, but nice.
Races and Bank Robberies in New Helios
-
The Pink Paws Heist—now that’s serious business. Stealing bank valuables together yields more resources, including rare items. And most importantly, it quickly fulfills your two-week earnings quota: a million fons. Yes, I’m talking about that same progress.
-
Hobbies in Etero—unlocked at Tycoon level 12. Races, arcade minigames, and other challenges await you here. Invite a friend—it’s more fun with two, and a little competition never hurt anyone.
-
Exploring the metropolis—well, what would it be without it? Wander the districts of New Helios, clear out gangs and anomalies, uncover secret locations, and collectibles. By the way, use the interactive map—it helps you find points of interest much faster.
