In esports, amazing news has connected Counter-Strike 2 players with an interesting event. PGL, the tournament operator, spoke about his plans for the coming years. According to the information, in the period from 2027 to 2028, PGL plans to hold at least 15 CS2 tournaments.

In particular, changes have been made to the schedule of the championships for 2027, and PGL has also provided a detailed list of scheduled events for 2028. The summary is that fans and professional players can expect a busy competition program in the next few years.

PGL Tournament calendar for 2027-2028: Dates and Events

Details about future events are already available on the official website of the tournament operator. It won’t be long now: additional tournaments are scheduled for September and October 2027, but in 2028 we will have a real esports marathon – as many as eight championships! If we count everything together, including the joint project with Perfect World, then in two years PGL will give us 15 large-scale competitions.

PGL is a Romanian organization well known among Counter–Strike 2 players as an organizer of major international competitions. They were the ones who organized famous majors and other prestigious tournaments, for example, PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.

Regarding all the recent events, the Aurora Gaming team has won the laurels so far. They triumphantly completed their journey at the PGL Masters Bucharest 2025, the LAN championship that took place in Romania from October 26 to November 1. 16 teams competed for the title of the strongest, and the total prize pool of $1.25 million was fairly divided between the players themselves and their clubs.
