At the VALORANT Champions 2025 tournament, MIBR forfeited to DRX 1-2 in a satisfying quarterfinal in the lower bracket. Both teams put themselves to the test in this three-game playoff match, but in the end, DRX won on Sunset (10-13), Ascent (15-13), and Bind (13-10).
With this achievement, DRX will advance on to the next round of the tournament, where they will take on Paper Rex. The game was tentatively scheduled for October 3 at 5:00 PM Moscow time.

Concerning the MIBR, they gathered $85,000 in prize money for finishing in fifth or sixth place during their tournament participation. Although the team achieved an overall satisfactory outcome, they unsurprisingly hoped for more.

For VALORANT fans, VALORANT Champions 2025 is the most sought-after post-event of the year. The award ceremony is held at Les Arènes d’Arles in Paris from September 12 to October 5. Only eight of the 16 top teams in the world have advanced to the knockout stage of the tournament in 2025. Each and every one of them is vying for the title of champion and an equal percentage of the ridiculous $2,250,000 prize fund.
