The widely recognized multiplayer game Dota 2 obtained a new update from Valve that brings some significant changes. With this most recently implemented patch, players will no longer be able to buy autographs from analysts and commentators connected to The International 2025. Furthermore, bundles featuring the teams competing in the tournament are no longer available for purchase in the store. The way that fans have the ability to communicate with the event and its characters has changed drastically as the outcome of about these modifications.

How Team Pack Sales Boosted the TI2025 Prize Pool

The developers have completed sales of in-game packages featuring commentators and analysts, as well as team packs for The International 2025 (TI14). The supporter packs were launched in late August. Of all proceeds from their sales, 50% went to the pack creator (team or studio), and 30% went to the overall TI 2025 prize pool. The pack remains available, and gamers can earn rewards by participating in fantasy mode and predictions, as well as purchase a champion capsule with Team Falcons player stickers.

Team packs were added to the game on August 20. Since then, the TI14 prize pool has increased from $1.6 million to $2.88 million, surpassing the TI13 prize pool.

The International 2025 was held in Hamburg, Germany, from September 4 to 14. The total prize pool was over $2.8 million. The tournament became the most viewed event of September. Team Falcons won the tournament, earning over $1.2 million.

A bundle signed by host Vasilisa Chernova became a national hit at the tournament’s launch. Priced at 1,630 rubles, the bundle was statistically the most popular among the 10,000 matches.
