Agent Changes
- Cypher. Some visual effects that were interfering with Cypher’s Camera have been removed. This interference typically occurred when a player quickly connected and disconnected from the camera several times in a row. These changes make it much easier to gather information through the camera, especially if you check it frequently.
- Waylay. Waylay’s Convergence ability visual effects have been updated, making the edges clearer and making it easier to dodge.
Game Systems Updates
With the introduction of new agents and their abilities, Riot is committed to ensuring consistency in the information players receive when using similar abilities. Therefore, we’ve made two changes:
Abilities that can be placed and activated multiple times will now appear teal to make them easier to distinguish from others.
Agent Changes:
Chamber
- Rendezvous – Signature Move.
Killjoy
- Nanoroi.
Vyse
- Sharp Vine;
- Arc Rose.
Yoru
- Uninvited Guest.
To unify the display of new abilities in terms of their interactions and information, the developers have changed the display of some controlled abilities and drones on the minimap. They will now display arrows indicating their direction, and enemy and allied abilities will be highlighted in different colors. Additionally, a search state has been added for drones that follow players.
Agents and their abilities displayed on the minimap:
- Fade – Predator;
- Raze – Boomstick (new, previously not displayed on the minimap);
- Gekko – Runner, Boomstick;
- Skye – Tracker, Guiding Light, Trackers;
- Sova – Owl Drone;
- Tejo – Stealth Drone.

New Custom Game Mode
Starting October 3rd, a new mode will be available to select when creating a Custom Game lobby. Invite your friends (or several) to enjoy these new features! Full details will be revealed during the Champions Finals.
Bug Fixes
Agents
- Fixed an issue where the recoil from Chamber’s Bounty Hunter ability would occur earlier than intended.
- Brimstone’s Orbital Strike sign now disappears from the map once its effect ends. Previously, it would remain on the map even after the effect wore off.
- Fixed an issue with Raze’s hairstyle that could flicker during certain movements in the agent selection menu.
- This expansion also fixes a bug where Phoenix could break glass on the Ascent map with Inferno, even if it was outside the ability’s range.
Known Issues
- General. Last week, we made changes that should have resolved most instances of agent models disappearing. However, we’re still working on a final fix, so these issues may still occur. If you encounter this issue, please report it to our support team!
- PC Only. The “Show Replay UI” and “Show Cursor” options are now disabled if Hide UI is enabled in-game.
Premier Changes
In the next patch, we’ll expand the Team Label feature to include VCT teams! All owners of Premier teams partnered with VCT will receive a notification to change their team name.
Known Issues
- If you’re watching a replay in first-person and have an agent affected by the “Darkness” Fade selected, all audio will be muted in the next match until you restart the client. This will be fixed in patch 11.08.
- A minor issue has been discovered where hovering over an offline player from your friends list will cause the Premier team section to be empty. This will also be fixed in patch 11.08.
- There’s another issue: confirming agent selection before a match can cause the game to crash. We plan to fix this in patch 11.08. In the meantime, you can temporarily disable AVX-512 instructions in your system’s BIOS.
