PMartial Cadence
Jarvan's first basic attack on an enemy deals bonus physical damage based on their current Health. This effect cannot occur again on the same enemy for a few seconds.
the Exemplar of Demacia
The E-Q flag-and-drag is one of League’s most recognizable engage patterns, and it belongs to Jarvan IV. By planting Demacian Standard — a flag that deals magic damage on impact and grants attack speed to nearby allies — and then casting Dragon Strike toward it, Jarvan lances forward, shreds armor along the path, and pulls himself to the flag while knocking up everyone in between. That single combo turns a tanky top laner (also a classic jungler) into a long-range initiation threat that forces enemies to respect every wall and brush.
Once he arrives, Cataclysm seals the deal: Jarvan leaps onto a target with such force that he raises an arena of terrain around them, damaging enemies on impact and trapping the victim inside with him. Combined with the flag-drag, it lets a coordinated team delete a carry before help can walk around the walls. Golden Aegis complements the dive, shielding him based on nearby enemies and slowing everyone around — the more targets he lands on, the longer he survives in the middle of them.
Martial Cadence, his passive, makes his first attack on each enemy deal bonus physical damage based on their current health, encouraging him to spread hits across targets. With 8/10 defense and 6/10 attack, Jarvan IV contributes reliable engage, armor shred, an attack speed aura, and a carry prison rather than sustained damage. He fits decisive players who like calling the fight — his moderate difficulty is less about mechanics and more about knowing exactly when the knock-up window wins the game and when it throws it.

QJarvan IV extends his lance, dealing physical damage and lowering the Armor of enemies in its path. Additionally, this will pull Jarvan to his Demacian Standard, knocking up enemies in his path.
WJarvan IV calls upon the ancient kings of Demacia to shield him from harm and slow surrounding enemies.
EJarvan IV carries the pride of Demacia, passively granting him bonus Attack Speed. Activating Demacian Standard allows Jarvan IV to place a Demacian flag that deals magic damage on impact and grants Attack Speed to nearby allied champions.
RJarvan IV heroically leaps into battle at a target with such force that he terraforms the surrounding area to create an arena around them. Nearby enemies are damaged at the moment of impact.
