In early November, League of Legends received an update that turned the game upside down. If before the item store looked familiar and understandable, now the developers removed some of the forgotten artifacts, completely shook up the basic ones and introduced a new class – “Mythic”. The best couple of edits, and a real revolution: we can safely say that we have the most large-scale gameplay update in the entire history of “League”.

We dove headlong into studying the patch: we tested new items, compared builds and argued about which suited whom better. It turned out that for some champions the update was a breath of fresh air, and for others – a real challenge. As a result, we compiled a list of things that are really worth buying, and explained why they work in the current meta.

In order not to guess blindly, we constantly communicated with guys from high divisions – from D1 to Master on EUW. Their advice helped to look at the changes differently and highlight details that a newbie or an “iron” player can easily miss.

And yes, I’ll clarify right away: this material is not made for those who are waiting for the magic button “become a Challenger in an hour”. We wrote it for people who are simply too lazy to spend evenings digging in the store, but want to go into the game and understand what to buy. If you were waiting for a “secret build for a quick upgrade”, it’s better to relax right away and enjoy the process.

How many items are there in League of Legends

In League of Legends, all victories are based on items. They are what turn your champion from a “weak newbie” into a real winning machine. Back in 2022, there were about 150 artifacts in the game, and by October 2023, there were more than 200. And this number continues to change: developers add new interesting things and remove those that turned out to be unclaimed.

What is important to know: some items can only be seen in tournaments, and some are only available to certain champions. In a regular match, everything happens simply – you farm gold, go to the store and buy an artifact that will help you win the fight. If the choice was unsuccessful, you can sell the item, albeit cheaper. A little trick: within 10 seconds after purchase, you can return the item and get gold back – without loss.

Why do we need items at all

Each artifact in LoL is not just a “piece of clothing”, but a way to upgrade your champion. They increase damage, provide protection, speed up the restoration of mana and health. It is the items that make the hero survivable or, conversely, turn him into a dangerous killer.

The fate of the entire match often depends on the choice of items. For example, beginners often forget to buy artifacts or take something “at random”. As a result, their champion loses even in situations where, in theory, he should be in the lead. Experienced players choose items wisely – and are able to literally turn the tide of battle with one correct purchase.

So we can safely say: items in League of Legends are not a minor detail, but the heart of the gameplay.

LoL Item Guide: How to Build a Champion Properly

When it comes to building artifacts in League of Legends, the process is deeply personal and tailored to each player’s style. Your item choices should not only reflect your champion’s specific needs but also strategically target and undermine the strengths of the opponents chosen by the enemy team. There is no universal guide that fits every situation; instead, players must carefully consider the current dynamics and conditions on the map when making their selections.

Among the various item classes, the only one universally recommended for all champions in League of Legends is boots. These essential items significantly enhance movement speed, which allows your champion to navigate the battlefield more effectively, evade danger, or engage enemies with greater agility.

To find the best recommended builds for your champions, you can explore in-depth champion reviews, detailed guides, and various resources that focus on counter-picking strategies. These tools will help you make informed decisions and adapt your gameplay to the ever-changing landscape of the game.

Classification of League of Legends items by properties:

  • increase attack power;
  • increase critical strike;
  • increase attack speed;
  • stun the enemy;
  • increase offensive ability;
  • enhancement of magical abilities;
  • restore energy points;
  • restore life points;
  • increase XP or MP reserves;
  • increase resistance;
  • accelerate skill recharge;
  • increase movement speed on the map;
  • vampirism – converting part of the damage dealt into life points.

Combination items are combined with 2 or more classifications.

Best LoL Mythics for Champions: Review and Recommendations

League of Legends has a new, truly revolutionary class of items — mythic artifacts. These aren’t just stat items, but real “gameplay switches” that can radically change the way you play your champion. Sometimes a hero you knew as predictable suddenly reveals an unexpected side — and all thanks to one mythic item.

  • Each class now has its own mythics. Mages and fighters have a huge selection, you can experiment at least in every match. But assassins have a more modest set, which, however, makes each decision even more important.
  • The trick with mythic artifacts is that they have a unique passive that is strengthened together with legendary items. For example, having collected “Triple Alliance”, you trigger a nice bonus: each new legendary will give your champion additional attack speed. It feels like you are not just stocking up, but building your own “power engine”.
  • But Riot didn’t limit themselves to mythics — they completely reworked legendary items and revised starting purchases. Take, for example, the “Tear of the Goddess”: now it costs 400 gold and allows you to accumulate mana from the first minutes, which opens up space for bold strategies.
  • A completely new indicator has appeared — all-encompassing vampirism. Unlike the usual “life steal”, it works not only with auto attacks, but also with skills. Imagine — your champion restores health even when throwing skills. Fights will be more informative with statistics.

Mythic Artifacts in LoL for Warriors

New artifacts in League of Legends have breathed freshness and freedom of choice into the game. If before everything was reduced to standard builds, now each warrior can reveal himself in a new way. Players appreciate this for flexibility: the same champion can be a “wall” for the team, support allies or, conversely, turn into a cold-blooded killer who decides the outcome of the skirmish himself. It all depends on what items you take and how you play the moment.

Mythical items for warriors league of legends

Eclipse

The top one item in the store – for fighters and assassins, it has become a real gamechanger. “Eclipse” gives attack power, lethality and a little vampirism, which makes the hero not only dangerous, but also survivable. Imagine: you fly into the enemy, hook him with an auto attack and an ability, and suddenly – bam! – the passive is triggered. The enemy takes additional damage, and you get a shield and acceleration. For a few seconds you feel like a predator who has nowhere to rush: the prey is already in the trap.

There is also a nice bonus – each legendary item on top adds 4% armor penetration. This means that tanks with a lot of armor are no longer an impregnable fortress.

If your champion deals AD damage and likes to combine skills with attacks – this is almost an ideal choice. Renekton, Darius, Zed, Jayce, Talon, Rek’Sai, Lee Sin – these guys open up with “Eclipse” that combines with the parameters as much as possible.

But there is a downside: if the hero is tied to attack speed, like Irelia or Fiora, the item will quickly lose its effectiveness. It is better for them to choose a different build so as not to limit their own potential.

The Ripper

If you like to fight in the thick of a teamfight and literally “suck blood” from your enemies, then this artifact is made for you. It is activated by pressing: the hero swings a bloody chain and hits everyone around. The more champions get hit, the more your fighter will be healed. Sometimes one skill pressed in time turns a lost fight into a victory: health is almost at zero, you press the button – and your champion is already on his feet again, ready to continue the fight.

Who will especially appreciate the “Ripper”? This is a real all-rounder for many melee champions. Darius, Aatrox and other “bone dancers” get the most out of it, because the item will give you a way to stay in the fight longer. But there is a nuance: now in the meta, “Eclipse” is chosen more often – it is a little more effective. However, it is worth the developers to weaken it – and “Ripper” will return to the top-priority builds again.

Bonecrusher

The artifact is like an old friend who seems to be always there, but you don’t remember him that often. It works simply: the hero makes a small dash forward, deals damage and applies a powerful 60% slow to all nearby enemies. You can use a good option in a fight and “stick” the most dangerous opponents to the ground for a couple of seconds.

As with everything, there are exceptions and mistakes: “Bonecrusher” today looks pale against the background of competitors. “Eclipse” easily beats it in terms of usefulness, and the item itself is not needed by everyone. Most champions either already have their own control, or need other characteristics. Because of this, “Bonecrusher” often gathers dust on the sidelines, and it is he who will most likely become one of the first candidates for total changes or even a complete rework.

God Smasher

The second most valuable artifact after “Eclipse,” this item acts as a fantastic resource for nearly every champion in the game. It provides not only attack power, health, and cooldown reduction but also boasts an impressive passive ability. After using a skill, the next auto-attack delivers increased damage to the enemy and heals you for 50% of the damage inflicted. This dual benefit makes it an excellent choice for aggressive playstyles.

This item fits seamlessly with champions who blend auto-attacks and abilities, such as Riven, Aatrox, Camille, Kayn (in his Darkin form), Wukong, Renekton, Gnar, and many others. The bonus damage from the passive ability is particularly versatile, as it applies not just to minions and enemy champions but also to structures like towers. With “God Crusher,” any turret will crumble under your relentless assault in just a few hits—each swing can take away 400-500 HP, making you a formidable force on the battlefield.

Trinity Force

As for “Trinity Force,” it continues to be a classic staple that players can rely on, no matter where they are in the game. This artifact has become even more advantageous for champions that primarily rely on attack speed and enjoy boosts to movement speed after landing hits. Additionally, the “Spellblade” effect remains in play—each auto-attack that follows a skill will be empowered, giving you that extra edge. This synergy makes it a must-have for champions that thrive on quick strikes.

Its passive ability is noteworthy as well, ensuring that every subsequent legendary item you acquire will further enhance your champion’s attack speed by a few percentage points. This cumulative effect can significantly amplify your overall damage output in battles.

Surprisingly, Trinity Force remains relevant for the same champions as before. Jax, Camille, Fiora, Irelia, Wukong, Vi, and others are all heroes that not only rely on raw power but also on swift attack speed. Thanks to the “Alliance,” these champions can quickly ramp up their damage potential, outpacing their opponents.

To wrap things up, it’s essential for every fighter to prioritize acquiring either “Eclipse,” “God Crusher,” or “Trinity Force” during their builds. On the other hand, “Bone Crusher” and “Butcher” are highly situational items that, at the current time of this writing, seem to lack the value to justify their cost. Focusing on core items will undoubtedly lead to greater success in your matches.

Mythical Items for Mages

Mythical items for Mages league of legends

Mages now have an impressive array of options to enrich their gameplay experience. Certain artifacts are designed to support characters who prioritize agility and movement across the battlefield, allowing them to outmaneuver opponents effectively. Meanwhile, other artifacts are perfectly suited for assassins or heroes who lack crowd control abilities, giving them a tactical edge. Overall, this new season presents wizards with a wealth of opportunities to express their unique playstyles and strategies, making every encounter feel fresh and exciting.

Hextech Rocket Belt

The updated version of the Rocket Belt feels like a real must-have for those who love an aggressive playstyle. Now this item doesn’t just provide a standard set of bonuses – health, ability power, and reload acceleration – it really helps you feel like a hunter on the battlefield. Imagine: you make a sharp dash forward, release a fan of rockets that literally tear apart opponents, and then the hero accelerates and rushes to finish off the victim. This is not a dry mechanic, but a small moment of pleasure when your champion turns into a real pursuer.

The belt is best suited for those who often lack mobility or the final blow to put a fat end to the duel. Mordekaiser, Sylas, Vladimir, Gragas, Diana, Kennen – all these champions look more aggressive, more dangerous with it. Now you don’t need to watch as the enemy with minimal HP slips away – you just press the active button and catch up with him.

Rift Creator

“Rift Creator” is a completely different story. If “Rocket Strap” gives the feeling of hunting, then this artifact turns the fight into a protracted marathon of survival. It inherited the legendary mechanics of “Liandry’s Torment”: the longer you fight with enemies, the stronger you become. And when the passive reaches its maximum, some of your damage breaks through the defense and turns into pure damage. This is exactly the moment when an enemy with a bunch of resistances suddenly realizes that they no longer work.

And at the same time, the artifact generously pours everything a mage needs for long fights: ability power, health, lifesteal and cooldown reduction. This is not just a set of numbers, but a real feeling of confidence – you enter the fight and know that you can hold out and finish off your opponents.

Riftmaker works best on heroes who thrive on their skills and like to drag out fights: Akali, Azir, Brand, Karthus, Swain, Fiddlesticks. With this item, they literally open up anew, becoming both resilient and dangerous at the same time.

Night Reaper

Reaper is the best thing for mages who love strength and energy with burst damage. The item not only adds health, ability power and speeds up skill cooldowns, it makes the game more active with its gameplay. The most delicious part is the passive: hit a champion, and immediately deal increased damage to him, and you yourself receive a short-term speed boost. You feel like a hunter who is always one step ahead. However, it will not work against the same enemy more often than once every 40 seconds, so you need to think about when it is best to activate this bonus.

Who will like Reaper? It’s simple: champions with a powerful burst and tough combo combinations adore this item. Imagine how Eliza, Diana or Ahri burst into the fray, setting fire to half of the opponent’s HP in seconds. Le Blanc, Nidalee, Sylas, Fizz, and Ekko — all these cunning assassins use Reaper as a key to successful ganks and spectacular solo kills.

Liandry’s Suffering

The updated Liandri mask is not just an item, but a real torture for enemies. Every time you hit an enemy with an ability, they start to burn, and it burns very painfully. The damage depends on their maximum health, so tanks and fat champions will suffer especially hard. The artifact gives ability power, mana, and cooldown reduction — that is, everything a mage needs for a long and confident fight. Plus a bonus: each legendary item collected gives an additional 5 units of CDR.

Who is Liandri perfect for? A paradise for mages who prefer to burn enemies gradually but relentlessly. Imagine Malzahar slowly choking the opponent with his voids, Anivia throwing ice, Brand turning a teamfight into a fire, and Cassiopeia literally melting enemies with her poison. For them, Liandri is a tool to turn the fight into a real nightmare for the opponents.

Luden’s Storm

The updated Luden remains true to its signature feature: when the charge bar is filled to the end, the champion’s next ability turns into a real mini-fireworks. The enemy takes damage, and a small explosion flies around him, hitting three more opponents. But the developers did not do without surprises. Now the effect goes on cooldown immediately after activation, and the champion himself gets a short burst of speed – as if making a crazy dash forward to immediately continue the hunt.

In essence, Luden remains the same weapon for those who like to hit sharply and painfully, changing the course of the fight with one well-aimed volley. Ahri with her lightning-fast combos, Veigar with a devastating ult, Gragas with a quick, assassin-like entry, or Ziggs, who can shower the field with bombs – they all benefit from the updated effect. This is especially noticeable for champions who depend on mana and are used to inflicting damage with a series of quick skills.

The new Luden will challenge players to think one step ahead, choose the moment to attack and use the extra speed to escape danger or, conversely, catch up with the victim. As a result, the item turns into not just a tool of damage, but a style of play – aggressive, daring and spectacular.

Eternal cold

There are items that immediately feel “special”, and Eternal Frost is one of them. It seems to be made for those champions who lack a little control and the ability to burst in with an unexpected burst. Press the activation button – and the hero releases an icy wave forward. Hit it right in the center? The opponent immediately freezes in place. Stand a little to the side? You’ll have to endure the slowdown. The item does not provide much damage, but instant control decides everything: this second can give you a winning exchange or a successful initiation moment.

Why should mages pay attention to this artifact? It’s simple: not everyone needs Liandri with its gradual damage or Luden with additional acceleration. There are situations when it is more important to catch the opponent and hold him than just hit the area. In this regard, Eternal Frost feels great with Luxa, Kassadin and other champions with a strong burst. Imagine Luxa catching an enemy in the corridor of the map, activating a wave, locking them in the “snow”, and then a volley of skills – and the enemy disappears from the screen.

Now mages in LoL are spoiled for choice: each style has its own set of items. But it is artifacts like “Eternal Frost” that add flexibility and variability. Kassadin, for example, can play with a dozen different builds, and will still feel comfortable. But when there are many mobile champions against you, freezing a target right from a blink is a pleasure that is hard to overestimate. And if enemies are running away too actively, then “Rocket Strap” cuts off their escape routes even more.

Mythical Items for Archers

In the shop, in the “Marksmen” tab, you can see four items. But to be honest, one of them, “Trinity Force”, is really only needed by a couple of champions: Ezreal and Corki. We’ve already covered it in detail before, so let’s take a look at three other artifacts that can become real saviors for marksmen.

Each of them seems to be created for different playstyles. Sometimes they complement each other so organically that you even want to combine them – it all depends on what’s happening on the map: whether you’re pushing the enemy or trying to survive in a tough game.

Mythical items for Archers league of legends

“Gale Force”

Imagine this: you’re playing as Jhin, Jinx, or Ashe. You deal a ton of damage, but you stand still, like a target in a shooting gallery. Unpleasant, right? And that’s where “Gale Force” comes in – an artifact that literally brings such champions to life. When activated, it gives a short dash forward, and if enemies are nearby, magical charges will immediately fly at them. Honestly, it feels like a small miracle: a shooter with no mobility suddenly gets a dash!

The passive is also pleasing: each legendary item purchased adds a little movement speed. A small thing, but nice – and by the late game you are already running much faster than you think.

But there is a nuance: Storm Force does not work through walls. Even the smallest ones. So you should not expect miraculous escapes from it.

Otherwise, this is really one of the best items for those who want to consolidate their advantage. Not only do you deal tons of damage, but you also become a much harder target. Enemies have to rack their brains over how to catch up with you, and at this time you continue to dictate the pace of the game.

Kraken Slayer

There are always discussions among players about artifacts for marksmen in League of Legends, “Kraken Slayer” is one of the first to come up. This item is created for those champions who love to shoot enemies with auto attacks. Imagine: every third attack pierces the enemy with additional pure damage. After this, it becomes much more difficult for tanks to stand in the lane or in a teamfight – no armor will save you. And “Kraken” also increases attack speed for each legendary item purchased, which makes it a real damage machine in the hands of a marksman. The item feels especially good on Lucian, Kai’Sa, Jinx or Sivir. With Lucian, it’s a whole different story: thanks to his passive, he activates the bonus almost twice in a second and a half – enemies simply do not have time to understand what happened.

Crossbow of Immortality

“Crossbow of Immortality” is already a life preserver for marksmen. You could say they finally got their own “Sterak”, but even cooler. If Zed or Talon flies out against you and it seems like the end is near, the crossbow turns on by itself. A shield of half health appears around the champion, and the vampirism indicator increases sharply. As a result, you not only survive a deadly combo, but also regain your health a few seconds later with successful auto attacks. A good chance to recoup where previously there was only a gray screen.

The main thing is that now shooters have the tools that were always lacking. Previously, ADCs looked defenseless in a world where any assassin could destroy them in a second. Now the situation is changing: the choice of artifacts allows you to adapt to the game, and the class itself gets a second wind. Season 15 is just gaining momentum, but it is already clear: playing for shooters has become more interesting, and their gameplay has become much livelier and more diverse.

Mythical Items for Assassins

Assassins in League of Legends always have their own story. At first glance, it seems that they have dozens of ways to assemble the perfect build, but in reality, everything is much more modest. Most players take Eclipse – a convenient, versatile item that has long been loved by half of the champions. But let’s be honest: one artifact is not enough to make the game bright. Therefore, we will analyze two “brothers” in the class – Duskblade of Draktharr and Hunter’s Claw.

Mythical items for Assassins league of legends new

Duskblade of Draktharr

Draktharr looks impressive, especially in the updated version. Its bonuses are pleasantly surprising: additional damage from auto attacks, a strong slowdown of the enemy and even a little “vanishing magic” – if you kill an opponent, the champion goes invisible for one and a half seconds. Plus, each legendary throws in an acceleration of the recharge of skills. On paper, everything is gorgeous, right?

But in a real game, it often feels… not the same. Yes, the item can be useful, but there are competitors nearby that do the same job, only better. Wukong, focused on pure damage, can try to “make friends” with this blade, but, let’s be honest, he has a more interesting choice. Therefore, “Draktharr” remains an item for an amateur: beautiful, but not always justified.

“Hunter’s Claw”

The most interesting in terms of combat parameters is in this thing. “Claw” is not just an artifact, but a ticket to a fast and spectacular fight. Its active allows you to literally fly into the enemy’s face, strike and leave a mark on him. Then everything is simple: the enemy begins to receive 15% more damage from you. In fact, this is a gift to any assassin – both a dash for a sharp approach and a powerful damage increase.

Kha’Zix, blue Kain, Pantheon, Rek’Sai – they all seem to be made for playing with “Claw”. It is vital for them to quickly close in on their prey and destroy it before the enemy has time to react. Talon gives them exactly that opportunity. Playing with it is like holding a secret one-shot button in your hand.

Mythical items for tanks

In this section, we will talk about only three artifacts for tanks. And here a logical question immediately arises: “Why not five? After all, there are exactly that many in the store!” It’s simple – the two remaining items are much more useful for supports, and now we will focus more on those who stand on the front lines: foresters and top laners. And later, in a separate block, we will return to items for support heroes.

Mythical items for tanks league of legends

Sunfire Aegis

With the start of Season 11, Sunfire instantly became the main choice for all tanks. This item is a real find: it increases survivability and deals so much damage that opponents begin to regret every hit on you.

Its mechanics are pleasant and simple: as soon as you hit an enemy or take damage yourself, a flame flares up around the hero. It burns everything living nearby, and the longer the battle lasts, the stronger the fire flares up. In the heat of battle, it reaches such power that it starts jumping to nearby enemies, turning the fight into a real fire.

And most importantly, this artifact is great for almost any tank. Want to buff Amumu? Please do. Are you building Rammus, Malphite, Maokai or Sejuani? Sunfire works equally well. It is currently one of the strongest items in the game, and that is why the developers are already thinking about nerfing it a little. So we will wait for future patches and see what it will become after balancing.

Frostfire Gauntlet

The Frostfire Gauntlet is like a piece of eternal winter that you put on your hand. The main feature of the item is a powerful slow that now occurs immediately after an auto attack. Imagine hitting an enemy with a normal attack, and it’s as if they’re stuck in the snow, not having time to take a step back.

But the magic doesn’t end there: enemies around your champion start taking damage, as if they were in a ring of fire and ice at the same time. Yes, the effect doesn’t stack, as in the case of Sunfire Aegis, but it still feels very tough.

The gauntlet is ideal for tanks who like to keep enemies under control. You can form for the team and prevent the enemy carry from calmly dealing damage. Take Malphite, for example: he comes in under his ult, splits the ground, and immediately the enemies get an AoE slow. Beauty!

Reactive Chem Armor

If the Gauntlet is a cold calculation, then Reactive Chem Armor is an investment in advance, when you need to catch up with the enemy at any cost. Essentially, it’s an updated Righteous Glory, but with a nice bonus from Sunfire.

Activate the item – and your champion turns on turbo acceleration. He rushes straight to the enemies or to the tower, and when he gets close, he releases a powerful energy blast.

Who especially enjoys such an artifact? Of course, champions-initiators. Rammus with this item turns into an unstoppable ball of aggression, Alistair gets a chance to rush in and catch several enemies at once, and Volibear becomes an even more dangerous beast.

“Aegis of the Sunfire” will still be an authority for you in battles. It’s not really smart to think about collecting “Gauntlet” or “Chemical Armor” – the damage from the new “Sunfire” is higher than all the additional capabilities of these artifacts. The patch will weaken “Aegis” after all, and then tanks will have to choose.

Mythical Items for Supports

Supports in League of Legends are true masters of transformation. Today you can line up with a tank who builds Sunfire and turns into a living wall, tomorrow – with an assassin holding Draktharr or Eclipse, and the day after tomorrow – with a mage like Brand, who throws Liandri and burns enemies from half a map away. It is this flexibility that makes the support role so interesting and unpredictable. But today, let’s focus on items that are especially good for the usual E-supports like Nami or Janna, as well as for tough guys like Alistair and Braum.

Mythical items for Supports league of legends

Battle Song of Shurelia

The updated “Shurelia” has retained the old trick: it speeds up the owner and nearby allies if they rush towards the enemy. But now it has become even more useful – after activation, the next three auto attacks of each ally affected by the buff will deal additional damage. A small bonus, but in a skirmish it often decides whether the enemy will have time to escape or stay lying at the base.

The item will be well chosen for supports who like to take the initiative into their own hands and open the fight. Alistair, Braum, Thresh, Leona, Nautilus – they all get huge profit from “Shureliya”. But there is a nuance here: sometimes it is much more fun to collect “Sunfire” and literally burn opponents in front of the whole team. At such moments, you are not just a support, but a real tank who sets the tone for the whole fight.

Medallion of the Iron Solari

Just like before, the new “Medallion” activates to provide a robust shield to all nearby allies when triggered. However, it’s important to note that its effectiveness gradually diminishes over time, which is why it’s best to deploy this ability right in the thick of a team fight. This item proves to be incredibly useful, especially when facing opponents who deal significant area damage, as it offers essential protection that can turn the tide in crucial moments.

The main champions that benefit from this artifact remain unchanged from previous iterations. Alistar, Braum, Leona, Nautilus, and Thresh can all take full advantage of it—unless, of course, they decide to opt for “Sunfire” instead, which might suit their playstyle better in certain situations.

Imperial Mandate

The “Imperial Mandate” is a fresh and rather unconventional artifact designed for supports, significantly enhancing burst damage potential in the bot lane. When the item holder successfully slows or immobilizes an enemy, that target receives increased damage and a mark is applied to them. Any attack from an ally will trigger this mark, dealing additional damage, while the holder of the “Mandate” enjoys a speed boost for several seconds. It’s worth noting that a new mark can only be placed on a single enemy once every six seconds, adding a strategic layer to its use.

The importance of this artifact cannot be overstated, especially for mage supports who thrive on dealing burst damage. Essentially, the “Mandate” creates an almost guaranteed opportunity for a one-shot against enemy marksmen if the support executes their full combo just as the marksman engages. This synergy is particularly appealing for champions like Brand, Janna, or Nami, who will absolutely relish the powerful advantages this item brings to team fights.

Healing Moonstone

An item in League of Legends is a real find for players who like to take care of their team. Imagine: you hit an enemy with a spell or auto-attack, and at the same time the nearest ally receives healing. It seems like a trifle, but in protracted fights, it is these “little saves” that decide the outcome of the battle. And the longer you stay in the fight, the stronger the artifact’s effect works — as if the Moon itself strengthens your support.

In its mechanics, the Moonstone is a bit like the Imperial Mandate. The difference is that the Mandate makes the game closer to an aggressive option, pressure and murders, and the Stone will be a bodyguard for allies. It all depends on your mood: if you want to “break in” and punish enemies — take the Mandate. If your soul lies in defense and constant support of allies, then the Moonstone will become your best friend.

Season 15 is like a holiday for supports. They have an incredibly wide selection of items and playstyles. You can become a steadfast shield for the team, constantly restoring health, or you can go into damage and surprise opponents with aggression. Take the same Alistar: he has several builds available at once, and each will bring tangible benefits. Such diversity opens up space for experimentation and will allow you to find your own playstyle. Yes, the prices for some artifacts are still “biting”, but this does not spoil the pleasure of the game – supports definitely enjoy the new opportunities.

How items work in League of Legends

There are no trifles in League of Legends — even one correctly chosen item can change the vector of defeat to victory. Some artifacts give the champion a stable boost: a little more damage, durability or speed. It’s like a solid foundation — it always works. Others are activated manually and turn into an emergency button: press it in time — you save your life or finish off the enemy.

Items league of legends

If you suddenly get confused, no problem — in the “Item Base” section on the official Riot website you can find a complete list of items and their effects. Everything is described there in maximum detail.

What is an item cooldown

A cooldown is, in fact, a waiting timer. Imagine: you drank an elixir, received a temporary boost, and then it’s a pity — you won’t be able to do it a second time in a row. You need to wait until the item “rests”. Each artifact has its own time, and sometimes it decides whether you will survive a fight or not.

It is interesting that there are items that cleverly reduce the cooldown of other items. Experienced players know how to use this: after all, every second in a battle can be decisive.

Result

Advice for beginners is simple: don’t go into battle blindly. Make a plan for assembling items in advance, before the match starts. This will make it easier to understand which things to buy first and which to leave “for later”. But you shouldn’t stick to the plan too rigidly: if your opponents choose strong champions, it’s better to adjust right during the game.
