Crimson Desert has a ton of resources. You will find minerals for upgrading weapons and a ton of cooking ingredients. With such a variety, it is easy to overlook truly valuable items that actually impact progress.
One such hidden treasure is Wild Ginseng. Without it, you cannot raise your Spirit bar above level eight. Let us face it, this is a serious hurdle in character development. The best places to farm Wild Ginseng in Crimson Desert
Gathering Ginseng on the northern slope of Silverwolf Mountain
We are heading north in the region, to the Silverwolf Mountain area. We are looking for a spot just southeast of the Abyssal Gate, right next to the Longleaf Shadow outpost. Teleport there and immediately climb the cliffs. To the very top. Look for a small ledge with a couple of tall trees and lavender bushes.
Along the cliffs, keep an eye out for small red buds. These are the coveted ginseng bushes. There are usually two or three of them. Each one yields one to four units of the resource. Plus, this location is pure gold: next to the Abyssal Gate, accessible even to low-level characters. It is the perfect place for farming.
A secret cave with ginseng in the Long Roots location
Remain in the same area of Silver Wolf Mountain, but now move southwest to a place called Long Roots. Find the Abyssal Gate that hangs over this zone (it is at the top of the mountain, as in the screenshot above). From there, look west and jump down, straight to the base.
Turn around to face the mountain you just jumped off. Look for a small entrance to the cave. In front of it is a large tree. Finding the opening is difficult: there is a constant thick fog here, so you will have to work hard. Once inside, follow the path until you come across a stream.
Three wild ginseng bushes await you in front of the stone lantern. Another excellent spot is also within walking distance of the Abyssal Gate. An important caveat: resources take time to regenerate, so do not expect the same bushes to be waiting for you in five minutes. But if you know both locations, farming will become a breeze.
