In the latest horror game Resident Evil Requiem, players stumbled upon a secret file that reveals an unexpected side of Umbrella’s activities – financial. Found in the depths of the Ark laboratory under the ruins of Raccoon City, the document contains a detailed list of prices for the corporation’s biological weapons, current for 2026.

Leon Kennedy turned Umbrella’s elite biological research into a pile of useless meat – the scale of destruction in Raccoon City proved fatal to the company’s secret programs.

While the Ark laboratory spent years breeding ideal killers, a young cop was methodically destroying the fruits of these labors. In the corridors of the police station, Leon killed about ten Lizunov. These blind creatures without skin constantly jumped out of the ventilation – but 9mm bullets quickly ended their lives. Flocks of Cerberus also did not become an obstacle. He shot dozens of feral dogs with torn flesh right on the streets and in fetid sewers. In just one night, Leon eliminated at least 15 such individuals.

In addition, the elite price list looks like this:

  • Tyrant (Mr. X) – $120 million;
  • Plant 43 – $100 million;
  • Cerberus – $30 million;
  • Lizun – $14 million;
  • Total — $810 million.

The cost of Nemesis was not indicated in the papers – its price is marked as “negotiable”.

The destruction of mutants turned into a financial disaster for Umbrella. For the elimination of Plant 43 and Mister X alone, Leon S. Kennedy “billed” the corporation for $220 million. If we add to this the dozens of killed lickers and Cerberus, the damage becomes colossal.

The loss of assets in Raccoon City now looks like more than just a virus failure. This is a real default. Considering Claire and Jill’s exploits in other scenarios, Umbrella’s total losses would likely run into the billions of dollars. The scientists had to pay for the mistakes with the company’s gold reserves.

The result is predictable. Investments in the T virus and years of field testing went up in flames – Leon essentially erased the work of entire departments of Umbrella. The corporation’s secret projects turned into charred remains.

The reasons for the failure are obvious – Umbrella underestimated the human factor.
