All Mutations & Price Multipliers in Grow a Garden 2 — Complete Plant Mods Guide - Image 1

Flora selection in the Grow a Garden 2 simulator isn’t just an aesthetic pleasure; it’s a key element of your financial empire. Unique genetic variations directly impact the final value of your harvest, activating an additional monetary multiplier. Some visual modifications appear spontaneously in seedlings, but the most valuable specimens require specific weather events like the Blood Moon. The basic principle of the economy is simple: the rarest anomalies yield colossal amounts of the local currency, Sheckley.

A complete list of mutations and price multipliers in Grow a Garden 2

Currently, virtual agronomists can encounter seven types of plant metamorphoses, each of which significantly increases the market value of the cultivated fruit. Most metamorphoses are tied to dynamic weather events on the server. This is why it’s crucial for a successful gardener to regularly monitor the situation in their garden beds to avoid missing a rare astronomical phenomenon. Incidentally, the Grow a Garden 2 mechanic currently strictly limits modifications: each fruit can only carry one mutation.

Below, we’ll break down all the available transformation types, guaranteed to turn your garden into a goldmine.

Weather and Random Plant Modifiers: How to Get and How Much They Pay

  • Big. The most basic upgrade with a 25x multiplier. The genetic glitch occurs completely randomly during the ripening stage. The fruit simply increases significantly in size.
  • Bloodlit. Provides a powerful 80x price boost. This anomaly can only be caught at night during the rare “Blood Moon” server event. The plant is easily identified by its characteristic scarlet sparks and eerie red-black glow.
  • Electric. Another top-tier multiplier with an 80x multiplier. To generate this flora, you’ll have to wait for the “Storm” event. The modified fruit begins to shimmer intensely with blue-white electric flashes.
  • Frozen. A modest x5 modifier that activates only during the Snowfall event. The affected plant is instantly encased in the texture of a transparent ice cube.
  • Gold. A substantial bonus with a price tag of x15. This anomaly drops randomly, but the chance increases dramatically during the Midas event or when using a Golden Seed. The stems and fruit are completely covered in pure gold.
  • Rainbow. An aesthetic mutation with a x15 multiplier. It appears either randomly or is guaranteed during the Rainbow event and the cultivation of a Rainbow Seed. The plant begins to shimmer with all the colors of the spectrum and emit multicolored sparks.
  • Starstruck. A solid 50x multiplier tied to the short-term “Starfall” event. A leveled-up crop gains a soft, light-blue glow and a distinctive white halo.

Plan your purchases of rare seeds in advance. Using specialized seeds (such as Rainbow or Gold) eliminates the long wait for the right weather trigger, significantly saving time when farming Sheckley.
