Hideo Kojima revealed the content of the Fortnite Runners content update for Chapter 7, Season 3. The massive update featuring the Skeletor boss and the mythical weapon, the Reacher Extending Shotgun, is now available on PC, PS5, and other platforms. Developers at Epic Games haven’t just refreshed the map; they’ve rolled out arguably the best activity of the season. The island has been almost completely redesigned, the Sprite mechanics and the Seven Sliders have radically changed the dynamics of movement, but the main hype is currently centered around the collaboration with the Masters of the Universe franchise. He-Man skins have already arrived on the Epic Games Store, but you’ll have to fight Skeletor yourself—and it’s worth it.

Skeletor spawn points on the Fortnite map in Chapter 7
Everyone wants to hunt down the legendary villain, but finding him head-on isn’t always easy. Skeletor is one of the three key bosses in Chapter 7 of Season 3, and he doesn’t have a fixed location on the island. This guy constantly teleports between random points, competing for spawn space with two other bosses—Wulf and Voidblade. Guessing which one is waiting for you in this location is difficult, but you can significantly boost your chances.
Boss tracking method:

Monitor key areas—check the map markers we’ve linked above as you play.

Scan the minimap—as soon as you’re close to the boss’s presence, a skull icon will instantly light up.

Tactical flexibility—if Voidblade is at a point instead of Skeletor, it’s best to immediately rotate to the next area on the list.
How to quickly kill Skeletor and grab the Mythic Shotgun?
This fight’s structure is reminiscent of standard NPC boss encounters from years past, so there’s no need to panic. Good old headshot spam works reliably, but Skeletor has a couple of nasty tricks up his sleeve that can seriously ruin your fight if you go too far. (Yes, the AI here can be surprising.)

Healing Interruption – The boss begins healing mid-fight, activating his signature emote. At this point, you should pour maximum damage into him to interrupt his regeneration.

Distance Control – Skeletor likes to combine long-range projectile volleys with sharp attacks from his powerful shotgun. Spamming buildings or maintaining a medium range is the smartest choice.
Once his health bar is depleted, Skeletor will comically flee in the spirit of a classic cartoon, leaving behind a mountain of loot. The biggest drop is the Mythic Reacher Extending Shotgun.
However, you’re not guaranteed to get a Mythic—if you’re completely unlucky with the randomness, the boss will drop a regular Legendary gun, which is still a pretty solid upgrade for the late game.
