DreamLeague Season 22 marks the start of the new 2024 gaming year for Dota 2. This tournament will be the first major event marking a new era in the ESL Pro Tour ranking system. This exciting tournament will take place from February 25 to March 10 under the auspices of ESL.
ESL is accepting applications for the Dota 2 open qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 22. The competition will begin on January 9. The organizers have planned two stages of closed qualification for teams from seven regions. Participation is open to all squads, and each team has equal chances. Qualification schedule for DreamLeague Season 22
- First open qualifiers – from January 9 to 10;
- Second open qualifiers – from January 11 to 12;
- Closed qualifiers – from January 13 to 17.
ESL has started accepting applications for open Dota 2 qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 22. Some teams have already received invites to the closed part of the qualifiers. Eastern European participants will compete for three slots in the main stage of this exciting championship.
The DreamLeague Season 22 tournament is scheduled for the period from February 25 to March 10 and will be held online. The teams will compete for a total prize fund of one million dollars and 18.5 thousand rating points. Some invitations to the tournament have already been sent to teams such as BetBoom Team, Xtreme Gaming, Team Liquid and Gaimin Gladiators.

Group stage 1: February 25 – 28, 2024
- Two groups of 8 teams each
- “Everyone with everyone” system
- All matches are played in a “best of two” format
- The top four teams from each group advance to Group Stage 2
- The remaining teams are eliminated
Group stage 2: 1 – 7 March, 2024
- One group of eight teams
- “Everyone with everyone” system
- All matches are played in a “best of three” format
- The top two teams advance to the upper playoff bracket
- Teams that take 3rd and 4th places advance to the lower bracket of the playoffs
- The remaining teams are eliminated
Playoffs: March 9 – 10, 2024
- Double-elimination bracket
- All matches except the grand final are played in a best-of-three format.
- The Grand Final is held in a “best of five” format
