PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 allowed 14 year old players
The organizers of the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 for CS:GO have reduced the minimum age for participation. This information was revealed in the official tournament rulebook.
Now, players who are at least 14 years old can participate in the event qualifiers. In previous Majors and major CS:GO tournaments, the minimum age requirement was set at 16 years. The organizers did not specify the reasons behind this decision.
The qualifiers for the RMR (Regional Major Rankings) for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 will take place in multiple stages from January 8th to January 21st online. Participants will compete for slots in LAN events held in three countries: Romania, Mexico, and China.
PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 will be held from March 17th to March 31st in Denmark. The world’s top teams will compete for a prize pool of $1.25 million. This championship will be the first-ever CS:GO Major in history.
