NSE extends contract with Pringles

National Student Esports (NSE), the governing body for university esports in the UK, has recently extended its partnership with Pringles, a popular snack brand, for the upcoming British University Esports Championship (BUEC).

As part of this ongoing collaboration, Pringles will have its own dedicated space at Insomnia’s gaming festival, i72, where the BUEC finals will take place. This exciting opportunity allows Pringles to showcase its brand and engage with the vibrant esports community.

By renewing this partnership, NSE and Pringles aim to continue their support for university esports and provide a memorable experience for participants and fans alike.

Pringles will host other community events

Pringles has recently extended its partnership with National Student Esports (NSE) for the upcoming British University Esports Championship (BUEC). In addition to the exciting live finals, where universities compete across a variety of esports titles, Pringles will also be hosting a series of community events throughout the year. While specific details are yet to be revealed, these events will offer enjoyable formats designed to cater to students of all skill levels.

This collaboration builds upon Pringles’ previous involvement with NSE during last year’s BUEC. The championship features a diverse lineup of esports titles, including VALORANT, Teamfight Tactics, Rocket League, League of Legends, Overwatch 2, Dota 2, and Apex Legends.

Pringles joins an expanding list of commercial partners for the British University Esports Championship, alongside prominent names like Intel, Scan Computers, Monster Energy, UNiDAYS, and DrayTek. This collective support from industry leaders underscores the thriving ecosystem of university esports.

Pringles teamed up with Unlocked agency

Pringles’ collaboration with NSE is just one example of the brand’s ongoing involvement in the esports industry. In 2020, Pringles partnered with G2 Esports and the League of Legends’ LEC. Additionally, they joined forces with Unlocked agency last year to launch the #StayintheGame campaign, a year-long initiative aimed at European gaming influencers.

Evie Pickering, Brand Activation Executive at Pringles UK, expressed excitement about the partnership by saying, We are delighted to sign with NSE, reaffirming our commitment to connecting with university students and expanding our presence in the university esports scene. This collaboration highlights our belief in the power of bringing people together to create unforgettable moments. We are eager to witness the remarkable passion and talent that these students will undoubtedly showcase.
