Seraphine

Seraphine was born in Piltover, but her parents came from Zaun, and that split runs through everything about her.

From an early age she could hear the souls of the people around her — not metaphorically, but as something closer to sound, other people’s inner lives spilling into hers uninvited. As a child the noise overwhelmed her. She has since learned to shape it instead, turning what used to be chaos into something closer to music, performing for the sister cities as a way of putting into song what both sides of the divide are usually too busy to say to each other: that no one there is as alone as the divide makes them feel, and that together they’re capable of more than either city manages on its own.

Played as a Support and Mage who can also hold the mid lane, and drawing on Mana like most casters of her kind, her kit performs that same act of turning noise into structure. Stage Presence, her passive, causes every third basic spell to cast a second time, and rewards proximity to allies with bonus magic damage and range on her next attack. High Note deals damage across an area, a straightforward opening note. Surround Sound shields and hastes nearby allies, adding healing on top if she’s already shielded when she casts it. Beat Drop cuts a damaging line through enemies, slowing their movement as it passes. Encore, her ultimate, charms everyone it hits and extends its own range with every champion it touches, allied or enemy, echoing further the more of a stage she’s given.

Her city is Piltover, the gleaming City of Progress built on hextech ambition, but her music was never meant for one side of the wall it shares with Zaun. Other Piltovan figures like Caitlyn, Jayce, and Heimerdinger share that same city with her, even if none of them hear it quite the way she does.
