Collaborations with Ford, the anime Blue Lock and the K-pop group AESPA, the new Royale Pass A19, and the launch of the S30 Ranked Season—there’s plenty of content to keep you going for a long time. Meanwhile, the studio has been dealing with the controversy surrounding the “Hand of Almighty” card, which became embroiled in religious controversy.

What awaits players in May 2026?
May is opening with a bang. A collaboration with Ford kicks off on May 15th: skins for the Mustang GTD and F-150 Raptor R—an aggressive sports car and a brutal pickup truck—will be added to the game. According to insiders, the event may include a Motor Cruise and themed missions. For fans of high-speed racing across PUBG Mobile maps, this is one of the highlights of the season.

The very next day, May 16th, Royale Pass A19 launches with improved skins (including Scorpion), 3D rewards, and premium content for the Elite Pass. Ranked Season S30 launches simultaneously—for those who are grinding for the top spot.

House Pass will be added on May 17th, and a new Premium Case and Lucky Spin with rare skins will be added on the 18th. Then there’s a short break, and on May 22nd, an anime collaboration with Blue Lock arrives: futuristic football skins, character skins, and bonus missions. The month’s finale is the Spartan Gold Roulette on May 27th, featuring weapons and costumes in an ancient warrior style, and on May 29th, a pet roulette for companion lovers.

June: AESPA, Football, and Meme Events
June opens with two events at once. On June 1st, Lucky Spin with AESPA launches—the K-pop group will bring futuristic, stylish skins—and a football collaboration with kits, balls, and possibly separate minigames will also launch. On June 5th, Honor Roulette will take place, and on the 11th, the continuation of the football event plus a Collector’s Treasure Chest with rare items.

Further on, things will get busier. On June 12th, PDP Roulette; on the 13th, Bonus Pass; on the 17th, Selection Lucky Spin. And on June 19th, Italian Brainrot, a meme event based on a viral trend. Light, playful content for variety. The month concludes with the second Golden Roulette on June 26th.

July: A Smooth Ending of the Cycle
July turned out to be a compact month. On July 3rd, a themed case with mummies will be released—Egyptian vibes, rare items. On July 7th, another Lucky Spin. Krafton is clearly holding off on big announcements until the next update.
The Hand of Almighty Controversy in PUBG Mobile
Amid the hype surrounding the Hero’s Crown mode, the Hand of Almighty collectible card was added to the game—a visually enormous cloud-like hand that creates cover. The issue was uncovered in the Arabic localization: the name was translated as “Al-Jabbar,” one of the 99 names of Allah in Islam. Some Muslim players perceived this as a direct insult.
Krafton responded quickly. The card was removed from the game, the studio issued a public apology, and announced enhanced content review to address cultural sensitivity. This is a telling example: PUBG Mobile has hundreds of millions of users worldwide, and the cost of a localization error is high.

Why PUBG Mobile Remains the Leader in Mobile Battle Royale?
The formula is simple, but it works:
-
Diversity of collaborations. Automotive (Ford), anime (Blue Lock), K-pop (AESPA), sports, historical characters—a broad audience, content for every taste.
-
Constant motivation. New Ranked Seasons, Passes, and free rewards through missions keep players coming back daily.
-
Esports background. Alongside the events, PMGO, Pro Series, and other competitions are running live.
Update 4.4 set the pace—and according to the schedule, Krafton shows no signs of slowing down. Ford’s May 15th is just around the corner.
