South Korean esports giant T1 has officially unveiled its updated Fortnite duo, with which it plans to break the Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) 2026 season.

A new Fortnite T1 duet and a victory on Mistrzostwa Polski

The choice of the organization fell on a Polish bunch of guys under the nicknames “Demus” and “Gift”. The guys have already got used to each other, performing shoulder to shoulder throughout 2025, and now they are ready for more serious challenges.

The announcement was organized on X (formerly Twitter), and there is something to see there. Darm and Demus, in fact, have already started the 2026 season on a high note: they won gold at Mistrzostwa Polski #2, performing under the tag BIG. In addition, the duo recently jumped to the fourth place in the seventh week of the Duet Victory Cup Chapter 7 Season 1 — a very solid result, however.

T1 Organization’s Return to Fortnite Discipline

This signing essentially marks T1’s long-awaited return to Fortnite discipline after a year and a half of silence. To be honest, the organization has not shown signs of life in this royal battle since October 2024, when it said goodbye to the Japanese trio of ‘Michael‘, ‘ZAZI‘ and ‘Wall’.

T1 is now far from the only top club that is actively vacuuming the market before the start of FNCS. For example, on January 9th, the guys from Gen.G showed their squad by signing two strong North Americans.

For T1, this Fortnite comeback was a logical continuation of their expansion into the world of Battle Royale. It is worth considering that back in December 2025, they presented the Call of Duty: Warzone roaster, where the main star was Echo— the winner of the World Series of Warzone.

FNCS 2026 tournament schedule and Major 1 Summit format

The current season, let’s just say, starts on January 31 with the FNCS Trial event. There, the players will probably be divided into divisions based on their skill and current results. After that, the heat will start in the Division Cups, which will last for the entire seventh chapter.

The first major tournament, FNCS Major 1, is scheduled for April 6-26. The best twos from all over the world will compete in regional selections to get to the finals of the major. Those who prove themselves to be the coolest will take an invite to the FNCS Major 1 Summit — this will be the first LAN tournament of the season. Well, the icing on the cake: the top 5 duos from this summit automatically reserve seats for the final Fortnite Global Championship.

T1 is, without a doubt, one of the most powerful organizations in history, and their return with top Europeans will obviously make the old-timers of the region nervous. Let’s see how they will cope with such pressure.
