The spring Festival Playlist series in Forza Horizon 6 has another challenge in store for players: the Tokyo Treasure Hunt. Breaking open the coveted chest is a matter of honor (and bonus credits), but the developers seem to have decided to test the attentiveness of fans. As a reward for your efforts, you’ll be rewarded with a hefty dose of season points and 100,000 credits. Considering that earning 15 points to earn the 1996 Toyota Starlet Glanza V and 30 points to earn the 1974 Corolla SR5, missing this stage means losing significant progress.

Where is the chest on the interactive map?

Many players waste time searching all over the metropolis. The secret is this: the chest is parked on the docks located southeast of Tokyo. It’s far from the most obvious parking spot, especially if you’re only looking at the map. If you prefer precision, I recommend checking the interactive map—look for coordinates in the industrial area near the water. The landmarks there are distinctive: concrete piers, tall harbor cranes, and the characteristic architecture of the hangars. Navigating points of interest in Forza Horizon 6 often requires intuition, but the key here is to reach the right pier, and then it’s a matter of technique.

The gameplay itself is a classic platformer on four wheels. The fastest way to reach the point is to teleport to the “Pier Pressure” event (Yellow Wristband). If you have the “Tokyo Docks Drift Zone” challenge unlocked, use it as a spawn point.

Once you’re there, follow this simple procedure:

  • Drag back from the start of the drift zone until you spot a ramp on the right—this is your entrance ticket to the second tier.
  • Step on the gas: the jump must be precise to fly onto the second ramp, which will launch you even higher, to the building’s roof.

  • Upon landing, immediately slow down. Be careful: don’t break the panoramic windows, or you’ll get stuck.
  • Ignore the inner ramp and drive past it straight into the building.
  • Carefully drive onto the ramp and make a sharp right turn to find yourself on a raised platform inside the hangar.
  • Turn around—the treasure chest awaits you in the opening to the left.

Be prepared for a couple of tries to control the car in the confined space of the warehouse. However, after you destroy the chest, credits will immediately appear on your account, and your season progress bar will increase significantly. Happy hunting!
