The third crossover, The First Descendant, is right on target again. This time, Nexon is targeting Evangelion, and judging by the trailer, it won’t miss. The collaboration launches on June 18, 2026, on all platforms—PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud, and PC via Steam and the Xbox Store.

Evangelion Collaboration Costumes and Skins

Evangelion Collaboration Costumes and Skins

Characters Bunny, Valby, and Gley in their Plugsuits

  • Full-size character costumes: Bunny will be Asuka, Valby will be Rei, and Gley will be Mari. The developers have prepared three sets of iconic plugsuits, recognizable at first glance.

Ultimate Weapons and Unique Gestures

  • Weapon Skins: It appears the game will feature at least three unique skins for the Ultimate Weapons. For example, EXCAVA to match Asuka’s costume, Greg’s Reversed Fate for Rei, and Deus Ex Manus for Mari.
  • Animations and Social Emotes: A set of themed gestures that will allow you to delve deeper into the atmosphere of the iconic anime.

According to Nexon representatives, the main goal of the collaboration is to create a vibrant experience for both regular players of the looter shooter and fans of the original Evangelion universe. Details of the event are promised to be revealed on June 16 in a special developer diary.

Evangelion Skin Pricing and Caliber Cost

Nexon is keeping prices under wraps for now, but experience from previous collaborations provides a good basis for calculations. Crossovers with NieR: Automata and Bayonetta in 2025 set a clear price point: their skins cost 1050 Caliber, which is approximately $20+.

Nexon Store Price Prediction

There are some factors to consider: skins for regular characters (not ultimates) typically cost 750 Caliber (~$15). However, collaboration content is always more expensive due to licensing fees. Therefore, 1050 is the most realistic estimate.

The skins will likely appear in the in-game currency store as individual items. A discounted set of three costumes is also possible—Nexon has already implemented this approach.

In any case, official prices and purchase methods will be announced on June 16th. And given the limited nature of collaborations, it’s best to stock up on Caliber in advance.

Have you decided yet who you’ll be dressing up: Bunny as Asuka or Valby as Rey?
