The developers of Borderlands 4 are preparing a real test for fans — the second raid boss will appear in the game on May 28, along with patch version 1.7. This time, players will have to face a duo of dangerous opponents at once: Subjugator and Thol the Invincible. These two obey the Timekeeper and promise to be the most serious test of skills after the first boss. In order not to fly away in the first seconds, you will have to meet the bar: the raid requires UVHM rank 7. Update 1.7 specifically shifts the ceiling of leveling, setting the stage for this madness. Don’t waste time on an empty grind — it’s better to clear the world bosses immediately after patch 1.6 or close the Wildcard missions and Lilith trials at Moxxi’s. This is the fastest way to reach the required levels.
The best build and selection of elemental equipment
Survival is your top priority. Without a reliable shield and a competent healing loop, climbing into the servants of the Timekeeper is simply stupid. If you play as Vex, the Dead Ringer for minions will be a great help, and everyone should have a Rep Kit in the active slot. The key point is the elemental coverage. You need to close at least two elements in the boat, so as not to run into the bosses’ resists.
Control the Ammo economy — the bullets here fly away instantly. Alternate weapon types and don’t disdain vending machines for refueling, and for Amon, it’s better to install class mods with regen right away (Cyborg is the perfect choice). Before the raid, check out the Bloomreaper for tests: hone sliding and grappling to avoid AOE attacks. If the build is set up correctly, the boss duo will fall after just a few runs.
