Riot Games has done a good feat in League of Legends for a winter gift — the legendary snowy version of Summoner Gorge returns to the game.
League of Legends’ Winter Map Returns in Style
Update number 25.23 will be eleased on November 19, and with it, a festive atmosphere will once again reign on the map. Baron Nashor will try on a cozy New Year’s hat and mittens, and the nexuses will turn into shining snow globes. All this will create the mood of a winter fairy tale, and the map itself, as conceived by the developers, can become part of a festive event. In addition, new skins and themed items are expected so that players can fully experience the spirit of the season.
The teaser has already shown a touching moment: executive producer Paul Pabro Bellezza lies down on the map with a smile and makes a snow angel — a shot that makes it impossible not to smile.
Recall that in 2019, the studio abandoned the winter version of the map due to the introduction of elemental dragons that change the landscape, as well as for a number of technical reasons.
Earlier, Alexander Zak Shcherbakov, a streamer and analyst for League of Legends, shared his thoughts on the future of the Asia Invitational 2025 tournament in an exclusive interview for VPEsport and noted that the return of the snow card could be a great symbol of a new stage for the LoL community.
