It had been a valiant effort from Virtus.Pro, who had fought tooth and nail to try and pull off the upset. But in the end, they simply had no answer for the well-rounded firepower and clutch factor of their CIS rivals. Spirit’s young stars had once again proven to be the difference-makers, with donk, sh1ro, and zont1x all delivering standout individual performances. The loss was a tough pill to swallow for Virtus.Pro, who knew they’d have to regroup quickly if they wanted to maintain their chances of making a deep run at the BLAST Spring Finals. But as they headed back to the drawing board, they could take solace in the knowledge that they had given it their absolute all against one of the tournament favorites. The future still looked bright for this VP squad, even if this particular battle had gone the way of their spirited opponents.
Dust2 – Spirit dominate with pure skill
