On July 30th, Springfield returned to Fortnite Reload, and it’s now the only available map in the mode—at least until August 3rd. The developers didn’t skimp: along with the map, they rolled out a new Ranked Season, fresh challenges for mastering the location, a collaboration with The Simpsons, and—a surprise that almost no one expected—a Simpsonized John Wick. We’ve compiled all the rewards available this season and the requirements for unlocking them. Now, let’s get to it.

Springfield Season Ranked Rewards

The Ranked Season in Reload works on the same logic as in Battle Royale: climb the ranks, earn rewards. No hassle. Here’s a full list of what’s at stake:

Reward How to obtain
“Fallen Cubes” Inversion Trail Eliminate 100 players in ranked Battle Royale or Reload
“Ranker Gesture” Emote Join a match at “Elite,” “Champion,” or “Unreal” level
“Home Base” Badge Play a ranked Reload match at “Gold”
“Blue Crib” Back Bling Play a ranked Reload match at “Platinum”
“Combat Zadie” Spray Play a ranked Reload match at “Diamond”
“Cell-Shaded Chaos” Pickaxe Play a ranked Reload match at “Elite”
“Disembodiment” Wrap Play a ranked Reload match at “Champion”
“De-Re-Zeator” Play a ranked Reload match at “Unreal”

Rewards are timed for the Ranked Season and are awarded automatically upon reaching the corresponding rank. No additional action is required—play a match at the required level and claim your reward. Incidentally, most of these rewards can be earned by playing on any Reload map, not just Springfield.

Rewards for Mastering the Springfield Map

Map Mastery Quests are quests completed directly on the Springfield map. There are 12 quests to complete, and cosmetics are awarded for each milestone. It looks like this:

Reward How to obtain
“Evil Dozen” Emote Complete 2 map exploration tasks
“Red Eyes” Emoticon Complete 4 map exploration tasks
“Fish Tag” Spray Complete 6 map exploration tasks
“Threatening Maracas” Emoticon Complete 8 map exploration tasks
“Red Eyes” Wrap Complete 10 map exploration tasks
“Dark Dozen” Back Bling Complete 12 map exploration tasks

The Map Mastery Missions themselves look like this:

  • Eliminate 30 players in Springfield (repeatable, 4 levels) – 10,000 EXP
  • Eliminate 30 players in Elite Fortress (repeatable, 4 levels) – 10,000 EXP
  • Eliminate 30 players in Slurp Rush (repeatable, 4 levels) – 10,000 XP

These missions are a meticulous way to earn experience while simultaneously progressing across the map. Kills at different POIs count toward the total, so you can combine multiple objectives in a single match. And yes, the pace here is faster than normal mode – Reload, with its respawns, allows you to secure kills confidently and without unnecessary stress.

How to get Simpsonified John Wick – John Wick’s Simpsons-inspired style

This is the main feature of the current season. Epic Games has dropped a surprise that was almost never announced: John Wick in the yellow Simpsons style. But there’s a catch – the style isn’t for everyone.

Here’s what you need to do to unlock Simpsonified John Wick:

  1. Purchase the Battle Pass Chapter 7 Season 3 for 800 V-Bucks. This is a mandatory requirement – you won’t get the style without the pass.
  2. Find and recruit John Wick on the main Battle Royale map. He awaits players west of Calamari Canyon near the fishing shop by the lighthouse.
  3. Complete all four John Wick contracts. Each contract consists of three stages, for a total of 12 tasks.
  4. After completing all tasks, the style will automatically appear in your locker.

Simpsonified John Wick

All John Wick contracts (for those who want to prepare in advance):

The Fight contract (can be completed in Battle Royale or Reload):

  • Hit enemies with the Lancehead after reloading – 2 times
  • Deal 550 damage with shotguns in a single match
  • Headshot enemies with assault rifles – 25 times

Boss Contract (Battle Royale only):

  • Recruit John Wick — 1 time
  • Deal damage with John Wick or a recruited Specialist — 575
  • Defeat bosses — 3 times

Confidential Contract (Reload on Springfield only):

  • Visit The Confidential in Springfield — 1 time
  • Eliminate a player inside The Confidential — 1 time
  • Survive 14 seconds after being Excommunicado — 1 time

Sprite Contract (Battle Royale or Reload):

  • Collect the John Wick sprite — 1 time
  • Eliminate players with the John Wick sprite equipped — 10 times
  • Upgrade the John Wick sprite to Mastery — 1 time

Important: Combat Contracts and Sprite Contracts can be completed in both Battle Royale and Reload. Boss Contracts are only available in Battle Royale. The Confidential Contract is located strictly on the Springfield map in Reload. Miss even one task and you’ll lose your chance to earn the style.

When does the opportunity to earn the Simpsonified John Wick end? The style is only available during Chapter 7, Season 3. The season ends in August—there’s no exact date yet, but it’s best not to delay. After the season ends, the style will likely disappear forever.

Victory Glider and Twitch Wrap

There are two more rewards in the Springfield Season that aren’t tied to Ranked Mode or Mastery missions:

  • Dark Cube-Rella: Reloaded Glider — Win a Reload match. Win the match, and the glider is yours.
  • “Siiiiiimpsooons…” Wrap — Watch Fortnite streams on Twitch for 30 minutes. This promotion runs until August 3rd, 3:59 PM Moscow time. Don’t delay—the deadline is coming soon.

Springfield Season Dates – When the Map Leaves Rotation

Springfield remains in the Reload rotation as the only available map until August 3rd. After that date, Elite Stronghold and Slurp Rush will return to rotation.

But an important caveat: August 3rd marks the end of the exclusive rotation, not the moment Springfield disappears from the game forever. The map may return in future rotations, so don’t consider this a farewell.

How to quickly earn all rewards: tactical tips

Time is short until August 3rd, so here are some practical tips for effective farming:

  • Combine ranked matches with exploration quests. Play Springfield in ranked mode while simultaneously completing Map Mastery Quests. Kills at different POIs count toward both progress.
  • Use Reload respawns for difficult objectives. Objectives like “deal 550 shotgun damage in a match” are much easier to complete in Reload—you have at least three lives, meaning you have a better chance of accumulating the required damage.
  • Don’t forget about The Confidential. For John Wick’s Confidential contract, you not only need to visit this location, but also kill a player there and then survive 14 seconds after becoming Excommunicado. The Confidential is located on the east side of Springfield Town Square—it’s an area with passive healing and proximity chat enabled. No shooting inside – violating this rule will result in you being Excommunicated, and all players will hunt you down. However, you’ll have infinite stamina and a faster reload speed.
  • The John Wick sprite is a different story. This sprite only appears in Reload. You can find it in chests, but the drop rate is low – it’s easier to open rare chests in high-loot locations, such as Springfield Town Square. To extract the sprite, you’ll need a Reload Portable Extractor – you can purchase it from vending machines for 50 gold or find it in chests.

The Springfield Season in Fortnite Reload is a limited-time event with a wide range of rewards. Ranked rewards, Mastery Quests, a Simpsonified John Wick, a victory glider, and a Twitch skin are all available right now. Get everything you need before August 3rd before the map leaves exclusive rotation. And yes, John Wick in the style of The Simpsons is worth spending a couple of evenings on.
