Brawl Stars is a free-to-play mobile multiplayer game from Supercell where you collect Brawlers and battle in fast 3-on-3 and solo modes like Gem Grab, Showdown, Brawl Ball and Knockout. Matches are quick, usually lasting just two to three minutes.

Brawl Stars launched globally on December 12, 2018, for both iOS and Android. It had a soft launch in select countries (starting with Canada) in mid-2017 before the worldwide release.

As of June 2026 there are 105 Brawlers in Brawl Stars, spread across rarities from Common and Rare up to Legendary, Mythic and Ultra Legendary. Supercell adds new Brawlers regularly, so the roster keeps growing each season.

Gems are the premium currency and the main way to get them is by buying them with real money in the in-game shop. You can also earn smaller amounts for free through the Brawl Pass, special events and offers, but there is no legitimate way to generate unlimited free gems.

Yes, Brawl Stars is completely free to download and play on iOS and Android. It includes optional in-app purchases for gems, skins and the Brawl Pass, but you can unlock every Brawler and progress without spending money.

Brawl Stars supports cross-play between iOS and Android, so players on either mobile platform can play together. It is not officially available on PC or consoles, so cross-play does not extend beyond mobile devices.

Brawl Stars has no official PC version, so players use an Android emulator such as BlueStacks or LDPlayer to run it on a computer. Install the emulator, sign in to Google Play, then download Brawl Stars; note that emulator use is at your own risk under Supercell's terms.
