The world-famous Kortz Center, nestled in the Pacific Bluffs hills, has long dominated the cultural scene of Los Santos. Its halls housed priceless works of art from around the world. And now the time has come for the most daring heist in GTA Online history.
Rockstar Games has officially announced the massive summer update The Kortz Center Heist—a multi-stage art gallery heist that will be one of the last major additions to GTA Online before the release of Grand Theft Auto VI in November 2026. This is the first official heist since the Clucking Bell Farm Raid, which was released over two years ago. Since then, no major multi-stage heists have appeared in the game.

When will the Kortz Center Heist be released in GTA Online?
The update is scheduled for release on July 14, 2026. The update will be available on all platforms: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
The developers haven’t announced an exact date yet, but you can estimate it based on previous years: summer updates were released on Tuesdays—June 17, 2025, June 25, 2024, June 13, 2023, July 26, 2022, and July 20, 2021. The range is wide, but the Fine Art Collector Program ends on July 13, meaning a release on July 14, 2026, seems most likely. That’s why we’re targeting this date.
What do I need to prepare for the Kortz Center Heist?
The main requirement for participating in the heist as the leader is owning a mansion in GTA Online. This luxury property will require the addition of a new room—the Art Studio.
The Studio will be your base of operations: from here, your team will launch reconnaissance missions and then the heist itself. Notably, the Studio also opens up access to a side hustle: art forgery. While you’re planning your main heist, you can indulge in some creative criminal activity.
The heist can be completed solo or with a team of up to four players. The format follows the structure of the successful previous heists, “Diamond Casino” and “Cayo Perico.” So if you prefer to go it alone, be prepared for increased difficulty, but the rewards will also be higher.
Fine Art Collector Program: How to Earn Rewards Before July 13th?
To help players prepare, Rockstar has launched a special program with three tiers of rewards, running until July 13th.
Level 1 – “Enthusiast”
Log in to GTA Online before July 13th to receive GTA$500,000 and a free armored Benefactor Turreted Limo with a roof-mounted machine gun.
Level 2 – “Patron”
Complete any heist before July 13th to earn an additional GTA$1,000,000 and the NOOSE Special Forces suit.
Level 3 – “Elite”
Mansion owners who play before July 13th will receive a GTA$1,000,000 discount on the Art Studio upgrade, a free Annihilator Stealth helicopter, and exclusive interior items—a sculpture and a unique painting for decorating the mansion—when launching the Kortz Center heist.
Rewards for the first two levels will be awarded within 72 hours of completing the requirements. Rewards for “Elite” will be available after the heist’s release in July.

What is known about the Kortz Center heist?
The Kortz Center has been one of the most recognizable landmarks in Los Santos since the game’s release in 2013. However, until now, players haven’t had the opportunity to break into the building and stage a heist. That’s about to change.
The heist itself will be multi-stage: first, scouting the location, then choosing an approach, infiltrating, and finally escaping with the loot. You’ll be tasked with stealing priceless works of art for your personal collection.
Fans have already noticed that the title of Rockstar’s press release, “The Next Big Score,” echoes the title of the final heist in GTA V’s story campaign, “The Big Score.” This can hardly be a coincidence.
