CS2 June 11 Update: IEM Cologne Major 2026 Sticker Price History Now Available In-Game - Image 1

Until now, figuring out whether a sticker was rising in price or the right moment to buy had arrived meant opening third-party sites, manually tracking the Steam Marketplace, or simply guessing. Valve apparently got tired of watching from the sidelines.

In the June 11, 2026 patch, the developers added a weekly price history directly into the IEM Cologne Major 2026 shop — showing the minimum and maximum price for each sticker over the last seven days. It is a small change, but a genuinely useful one for anyone keeping an eye on Major collectible prices.

IEM Cologne 2026 Sticker Price History — What It Means for Players

The feature is straightforward, but it has been a long time coming. Now, inside each sticker card in the tournament shop, you can see:

  • the lowest price recorded over the past 7 days;
  • the highest price over the same period.

At a glance, this tells you exactly what price range a given sticker has been moving in — whether it is dropping or sitting at a peak. For players who buy stickers not just for aesthetics but as a small investment, having that data in-game saves both time and unnecessary tab-switching.

On top of that, the IEM Cologne 2026 hub tile on the main menu now features a sticker showcase. A minor touch, but it makes the Major shop feel more alive and easier to browse at a glance.

Everything Else That Changed in the CS2 June 11 Patch

Beyond the Major shop updates, Valve also cleaned up several things in the inventory interface:

Change Details
Storage Units Multiple items can now be selected at once when depositing or withdrawing
Full inventory error message A proper error now appears when rewards cannot be claimed due to inventory being full
Bug fixes Fixed number wrapping issues in certain language versions of the game

The Storage Unit improvement will be the most noticeable quality-of-life fix in day-to-day use. Moving items one by one was a genuine chore — being able to select multiple at once is the kind of thing that should have been there from the start.

The full inventory error is another long-overdue fix. Previously, the game would simply refuse to deliver an item from the Armory or the Major shop without explaining why. Now at least there is a clear message telling you what is going wrong.

How to Buy IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stickers at the Right Price

The arrival of weekly price data is a good moment to revisit the basics of buying Major stickers smartly:

  • Avoid buying in the first few days after launch — hype inflates prices early.
  • Track the weekly range — the new in-game data shows whether a sticker is falling or climbing.
  • Follow team performance — stickers from teams advancing deep into the bracket tend to increase in value.
  • Player autographs outperform team stickers — individual signatures, especially from star players, appreciate faster.
  • Holo and Gold variants hold value better — rarer sticker types are more resilient to price drops over time.

IEM Cologne Major 2026 is currently in full swing with Stage 3 underway. The window for picking up stickers at reasonable prices is still open, but it is closing fast.

Context: Valve Are Quietly Building a Better Major Shop

This is already the second CS2 update tied to IEM Cologne Major 2026 in under two weeks. On May 29, Valve introduced the ability to favourite stickers inside the tournament shop — the first step toward making in-game sticker browsing a proper experience.

A pattern is emerging: Valve are gradually turning the built-in Major shop from a basic catalogue into a more complete tool for collectors. Price history, favourites, a showcase tile — these are all pieces of the same picture.

Today’s patch weighs around 91.9 MB and is already live on Steam.

The update is small, but it signals that Valve are thinking about the CS2 in-game economy experience — not just gameplay. If the trend continues, future Major shops could bring more advanced features: price charts, change notifications, better filtering. For now, make use of what is there, keep an eye on the price history, and do not miss your window before the IEM Cologne finals.
