I must admit, I’m somewhat skeptical about the practicality of the last option; they come across more as a whimsical addition designed to appeal to players who prefer resolving conflicts through diplomacy rather than combat. In this way, the interstellar experience becomes richer and more immersive, allowing players to feel a deeper connection with their pilot and the expansive universe around them. This shift not only enhances gameplay but also fosters a sense of community and shared adventure among players.

Although we have access to only a little over half of all combat missions, many of them allow for an intellectual rather than a brute force approach. However, clashes are unavoidable – we will repeatedly find ourselves in the thick of battles, and the old combat instincts honed during our time as a creature are no longer as effective as before. The missions are as varied as the planets on which they unfold. Some missions are calm, almost theatrical episodes – poignant or absurd stories that we watch, laughing at the bizarre characters and unexpected plot twists. At times, we’ll find ourselves helping a nearly primitive tribe fend off marauding pirates who threaten their very existence.
