And what’s especially nice is that after that, you can take these characters with you as companions.

The combat system offers a rich arsenal of tools. Among them:

• explosive seals that deal damage over an area;
• kunai that can temporarily stun an enemy;
• traps that are activated when an enemy approaches;
• items that enhance the hero’s stats during combat.

But not all of this is available right away – to get cool stuff, you have to explore the world, collect materials and carefully search each location.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is a mixture of surprises and strange decisions. It seems to be constantly trying to surprise – and often it succeeds. But the feeling that something is missing still remains. The game is clearly not for everyone: without knowledge of English, you will have to try hard to get to the heart of the matter, because there is no official Russian translation. Sometimes you have to literally “read between the lines”, armed with patience and a dictionary.
