However, a major flaw is that if a scout leaves the organization, all their valuable insights and data vanish along with them. It’s a real loss for the club. So let’s be honest—could you envision managing effectively without any of these changes? Now, let’s delve into what truly requires improvement and how we can enhance the overall experience for everyone involved.

Unfortunately, the answer is no.

As a rule, at the very beginning of a player’s career, it is easy to determine which young players are worth investing in – each is assigned a potential that reflects the expected vector of his development. These indicators hardly change from one career to another, so unexpected takeoffs happen very rarely.

It is for this reason that it is unlikely to see a career similar to Mohamed Salah’s in the game, who blossomed by the age of 25. In most simulations, his development ceiling will remain around 140-150. The same goes for veterans like Aritz Aduriz: having reached the age of 30, he is automatically considered to have completed his development in the game world. However, in real football there are many examples of late bloomers or radical career turns. At the same time, players like Rodrigo or Dayot Upamecano are considered in simulations as almost surefire investments – their high potential is almost certainly realized. Forget about trying to replicate Klopp’s Liverpool—the flawed engine will have forwards like Akinfenwa easily sprinting past your defenders. Using three at the back is also ineffective; the defenders merely end up obstructing each other rather than providing the support needed.

As for the difficulty level, FM 19 was incredibly easy. Players like Anichebe and Emenike could join a lower league team right from the start. Many gamers found themselves winning the league almost immediately and then going on to become national champions just a year later. This lack of challenge can diminish the thrill of the game.

Teamwork, too, is primarily developed through official matches, even though players could significantly enhance their understanding and chemistry during dedicated training sessions, fostering better collaboration on the pitch.
