This is where you will have to start the path to the top of the car business: buying old cars, digging into them, repairing them, giving them a shine and selling them profitably. The goal is simple – to turn this wreck into a thriving car dealership and make a fortune. And you know, there is a special pleasure in this: everything is obtained later, with labor, and this only makes the victories sweeter.

Although the plot in the game is almost absent, Baby Sam is a colorful character. He evokes conflicting feelings, but for some reason you quickly become sympathetic to him. Perhaps because of his peculiar charm or impenetrable self-confidence. The world itself is not visually stunning: the characters’ faces look a bit wooden, and the environment is quite typical. But this does not stop you from playing. After all, the real focus here is on the cars. They are well-designed: each model looks convincing, with attention to detail, and each has its own character. And the opportunity to personally get behind the wheel and test the car adds depth to the gameplay and brings real pleasure.

The game world is partially open. At first, you only have a limited area in front of you, but as your business develops and you complete tasks, you will open new areas. Some of them will allow you to open larger stores or offer special cars. Traveling around the map is pleasant thanks to the well-developed car physics. For example, I expected that driving on sidewalks, colliding with other cars or careless behavior would be punished somehow – for example, with fines or damage to the car. But instead, you are greeted by a funny physical effect reminiscent of a rag doll – and that’s it. No damage, no consequences. This breaks the realism a little, but makes the process easy and relaxing. After all, the game is not about the strictness of traffic rules, but about how to build an automobile empire from scratch.

Well, enough theory — let’s finally dive into the essence of the game. Everything here revolves around cars, and not new ones, but used ones, pretty battered by life. You will buy them from random people posting ads on the Internet. And I warn you right away — there is little romance here: the cars, as a rule, are in a deplorable state. They can be covered in a layer of dirt, rusted through, with parts falling off, or even with a set of all these “charms” at once. Sometimes it seems that the previous owner literally buried the car in a swamp before selling it.

But this is exactly the whole point — you do not just buy and resell, you turn junk into something for which you are not ashamed to ask a good price. First — bargaining. The lower you can knock the price down, the higher the potential profit will be. Then it’s all hands on deck: wash it thoroughly, remove rust, replace everything broken, touch up the paint and polish the body. There’s something almost meditative about this process. It would be more convenient, of course, if the damaged parts were highlighted visually, say, in color. As it is, you have to poke around with the cursor to figure out what exactly is broken. But even with this inconvenience, the feeling that you’re giving the car a second life is very pleasant.

Here’s a basic list of what you’ll have to do with most cars:

• Remove rust from surfaces
• Replace broken or worn parts

And here comes salvation in the form of personnel. You can hire car washers and body repairmen – they will do everything themselves, without unnecessary questions. But you will have to explain to the mechanics what exactly to fix, what components to change, what to unscrew. After that, you just have to wait for them to finish everything. As you progress through the game, your focus shifts: less time is spent on physical labor and minor repairs, and more on finding good deals, delivering cars to the parking lot, and making smart sales. And, frankly, it’s much more exciting than cleaning the interior of the car from dirt for the fifth time.

Overall, the process is addictive. It is unhurried, with elements of routine, but that’s its charm. It is pleasant to play – relaxing, with rare bursts of nerves when something does not go according to plan. The controls, however, can seem tedious, especially due to the large number of mouse clicks. After a couple of hours, you will already catch yourself thinking: “Can I finish this task faster?” But as soon as you expand the business and open a second store, the opportunity to hire more workers appears – and then the game really opens up. Everything becomes faster, more dynamic and less tedious.
