Decent, real name Lucas Bacelar, is a professional esports player from Brazil who has confidently established himself on the Counter-Strike 2 scene. Over the years of his active career, he has transformed from a promising newcomer into one of the most prominent players in his country. His path is a story of perseverance, steady growth and many victories. To date, Decent has about 400 matches played and more than $56,000 in prize money. During this time, he managed to win 6 gold, 7 silver and 8 bronze medals, and his most high-profile achievement was the second place on the Global Esports Tour Rio de Janeiro 2024. Decent is currently playing for the IMP (Imperial Esports) team, where he continues to prove that he is one of the leaders of the new wave of Brazilian players.

The path that began with a dream

The story of Decent began in July 2020. That was the first time he appeared on stage as a member of the RENSA at the Gamers Club Liga Profisional tournament. Young and ambitious, Lucas already stood out for his calmness and confidence. The team took second place, and although this result did not bring a lot of money, it became an important boost for Decent — it was then that he realized that he wanted to devote his life to esports. He soon joined Redragon and performed at the DreamHack Open March 2021, where he faced serious competition for the first time. Since then, his career has developed rapidly. Decent has changed several teams, including FURIA Academy, O Plano, ELES and, finally, Imperial Esports, where he plays now. Especially fond memories are associated with FURIA Academy — it was there that Lucas was formed as a player and a person. He played over 100 games for the academy and took a decisive step towards the professional scene.

Tournaments, emotions and victories

Over the years, Decent has managed to participate in about 80 tournaments, ranging from small local events to large international arenas. 2025 was a truly stellar year for him. As a member of Imperial Esports, he won the FiReLEAGUE Buenos Aires 2025, confidently performed at CCT Season 2, and also featured in BLAST Open Spring 2025 and BLAST Rising Spring 2025. Each tournament is a different story. Somewhere he pulled out a victory in the last round, somewhere he had to put up with defeat and draw conclusions. But it was through these ups and downs that Decent became who he is today — a fighter who does not give up. Among his notable achievements are:
  • TWC 2024 — first place and $3,000.
  • PW Shanghai Major 2024 — second place and $2,000.
  • CCT South America Season 2 #7 — Win and $1,000.
  • BLAST Rising 2025 Spring — first place.
Each award is not just a number in the table, but the result of a lot of work, teamwork and self—confidence.

Playing style and character

Decent is a player who knows how to keep his cool when others lose control. He is known for his accurate shooting, instinctive positioning, and ability to "read" an opponent. His teammates call him a "quiet leader" — he doesn't shout, he doesn't try to be the center of attention, but it is his confidence that often helps the team to come together in difficult moments. According to statistics, Decent consistently demonstrates a high level: ADR is above 80, KAST is about 80-85% and a great sense of timing. But if you ask Lucas himself, he will say that numbers are not the main thing. The main thing is the feeling when you know that you have done everything for the sake of victory.

Teams and contributions to Brazilian esports

Over the years of his career, Lucas has managed to play for six teams.:
  • FX — 30 matches, $300 in prize money.
  • IMP (Imperial Esports) — 212 matches, $50,000 in prize money.
  • O Plano (PLN) — 84 matches, $3,000.
  • FURIA Academy (FUR Ac) — 96 matches, $4,000.
  • ELES — 8 matches.
Every team has left a mark on him. He learned discipline at FURIA Academy, team responsibility at O Plano, and found his home at Imperial Esports. He doesn't just play here, he inspires others — young players who dream of following the same path.
