Sometimes the most interesting stories in esports start not with loud statements and a contract with a top team, but with silence. Not much is known about Cyrzr: no real name, no date of birth - only a nickname, country and a lot of tournament tables. But this is enough to understand that we are not just a player, but a real fighter who was able to break into the big stage without the support of organizations and sponsors.

A simple guy from Mexico who plays like a pro

Cyrzr represents Mexico, and despite the fact that he is not in the top of the world ranking, he confidently holds 44th place in the national standings. This is especially impressive considering that he achieved all his successes alone, without the support of a stable roster. He began his esports career back in 2019. During this time, he took part in 23 tournaments and earned $ 47,075. All this money came from Fortnite alone, a game he put his heart, time, and, of course, a lot of effort into.

Tournament Path: From Modest Starts to Big Prizes

Over the course of six years of competing, he gradually climbed higher. At first, the winnings were modest — $500, $600, $1100… But in 2021, a real breakthrough occurred. Then Cyrzr took 2nd place in the FNCS: Grand Royale 2021 – NA West tournament, earning a whopping $27,000. This success became a real milestone in his career, because this tournament alone brought him 57% of all prize money. Over the years, his Fortnite earnings looked like this:
  • 2024: $4,000 — a steady return to the top 20
  • 2023: $4,775 — a solid performance in the FNCS
  • 2022: $3,400 — North American finals
  • 2021: $32,000 — career peak
  • 2020–2019: another $2,900 or so — first steps on the scene
Most of Cyrzr's prizes were won in online tournaments — more than 98% of his earnings came from remote competitions. This is not surprising: for a player without a team but with ambitions, the Internet has become the main arena for the struggle for recognition.

Cyrzr's Top Tournaments - Where He Shone

Some of Cyrzr's performances will forever be remembered by Fortnite fans:
  • 2nd place at FNCS: Grand Royale 2021 - $27,000
  • 5th place at FNCS Chapter 2 Season 8 - $5,000
  • 9th place at FNCS Chapter 3 Season 1 - $3,000
  • 20th place at FNCS Major 2 2024 - $3,000
  • 2nd place at Elite Cup 2023 (NA West) - $600
Even though he hasn't lifted the championship trophy yet, he's been very close several times. Which means there's more to come.

Who is Cyrzr today?
