Ubisoft has revealed the details of the Rainbow Six Siege (R6) Europe and MENA League (EML) Challenger for 2026 — the prize pool for the entire series will be 75,000 euros. The shooting Range-2 tactical shooter scene is preparing for a massive relaunch: novice esports players will compete for the series points needed to reach the Challenger finals and battle for a slot in the top regional league.

By the way, the rules have become even more flexible this season — Saudi teams from eLeague are now officially admitted to the EML Challenger and will be able to fully farm points on a par with the Europeans.

Main tournaments of R6 EML Challenger 2026: dates and prize money

2026 R6 EML Challenger League

The structure of the season will remain consistent with 2025 — we are waiting for three key stops, each of which will draw 20,000 euros. We are talking about the regional events Rainbow Rumble, Central Combine and South Breach.

The northern division is the first to enter the fray — the R6 North Rainbow Rumble will be held from March 18 to May 3. The qualification screen will be tight: three open selections (March 18-19, March 25-26, and April 1-2) will determine the top 12 teams. Next is the group stage in the Round Robin format and the Double Elimination playoffs in early May.

The winner of the Rainbow Rumble will take away not only 10,000 euros, but also 120 series points — a significant reserve for leadership in the overall standings. All matches of the main stage are planned to be broadcast on the official R6 channel on Twitch. The rest of the tournaments were distributed according to the calendar as follows: Central Combine will take June and July, and South Breach will be the final chord in the period from September to November.

Partner events and support for Saudi Arabia

Ubisoft events R6

Ubisoft is not limited to its own events — third-party partner tournaments are integrated into the overall points system. This is great news for those who love LAN atmosphere. Two major events have already been confirmed:

  • Gamescom LAN will be held in Cologne from March 20 to 22. At stake is a modest 3,000 euros, but important Challenger Circuit points.
  • Gamers Assembly is a traditional French LAN party in Poitiers (April 4-5). The organizers are waiting for up to 40 teams, and the prize fund will amount to 5,400 euros.

Special attention should be paid to the initiative of the Saudi Federation of Esports. In 2026, they will hold a special tournament for teams from Europe and MENA — the winner of this event will receive a direct invitation to the Challenger Finals 2027. It seems that the Saudis are seriously intending to gain a foothold in the Rainbow Six Siege ecosystem.

Full schedule of the R6 EML Challenger Circuit 2026

For the convenience of teams and fans, Ubisoft has built a clear schedule to avoid overlaps with bootcamps and national leagues. The whole season is divided into three waves of activity:

  1. Spring Rush: Focus on North Rainbow Rumble and March LAN tournaments. It’s the perfect time to roll into the season quickly and gain some starting points.
  2. Summer stage: June Central Combine. Apparently, the teams here will actively test new tactics and updated roasters after the spring reshuffle.
  3. Autumn Denouement: The Decisive South Breach. It is in October and November that the final list of applicants for promotion will be determined.

An important caveat is that the list of partner tournaments may expand until October. The organizers advise you to check updates periodically: any local cup on the PC that complies with the rules of the secondary series can suddenly become a source of precious points and change the balance of power in the table.

Will this season be more competitive? Definitely. The connection of the MENA region and the integration of third-party LAN events make the path to the Rainbow Six Siege major league as transparent as possible, but extremely harsh.
