Krafton brings the madness back to the screens: PUBG RACE West 2026 has been announced — a two-day show tournament where the best content makers from Europe, America and the EMEA region will compete for a prize pool of $30,000. Zaruba is scheduled for March 7th and 8th. The format promises to be hot — they will play in TPP mode (from a third person), and the classic Smash Rule will form the basis, but with a couple of insidious additions from the organizers.

PUBG RACE West 2026 Rules: The “Hunt” for Captains and the Smash Rule

The scoring system is based on aggression — both kills and final places are counted. On the first day, 16 teams will fight to the 60-point mark. On the second day, the bar will rise to 85 points, after which the race for the decisive “Chicken Dinner” will begin, which will determine the champion. The teams will be led by guest stars — Krafton will reveal the names of the captains in the near future.

But the most interesting thing will start with the second card — the “Hunting” rule comes into play. The mechanics aren’t too complicated, but they’re brutal:

  • The captain of the top-ranked team gets goal status and 10 bonus points.
  • The player who can eliminate the “hunter” will earn his team an additional 10 points.
  • Personal bonus — the lucky shooter will receive $100 directly into his pocket for the leader’s head.

It will be possible to follow this chaos live — PUBG RACE West 2026 broadcasts will be held on the official PUBG Esports channels on Twitch, YouTube and Kick.

PUBG RACE West 2026 information

The season starts: PUBG Global Series 2026 Circuit 1 in Seoul

Show matches are just a warm—up before a real esports feast. From March 18 to 22, Seoul, South Korea, will host the first major event of the season, PUBG Global Series 2026 Circuit 1. 24 of the strongest teams on the planet will compete for $100,000 and, more importantly, the first PGS points.

These points will be the ticket to the final Global Championship, so the cost of a mistake in South Korea will be prohibitive. Although the exact format of the PGS Circuit 1 is still being kept secret, Krafton is clearly preparing something big for the opening of the competition year. We are waiting for details on the allocation of slots and mappula in the coming days.
