FNCS Major 1 Summit Heads to Düsseldorf: A Complete Guide to Epic Games’ Historic Debut in Germany 2026 - Image 1

Germany is preparing for a historic esports explosion — Epic Games, together with the guys from BLAST, have officially confirmed that FNCS will visit German lands for the first time in the entire existence of the series.

The FNCS Major 1 Summit tournament is scheduled for May 30-31, 2026, and it will be cool, because the PSD Bank Dome in Dusseldorf was chosen as the venue. The top duos of the world will come together in a battle for invitations to the Global Championship — and for a share of the impressive prize pool of 1,000,000 dollars, which in itself sounds solid.

There will be 100 professionals in the arena, the quotas have been distributed quite harshly: 20 couples will represent Europe, and 13 will come from Central North America (NA). In addition, 5 duos from Brazil will join them, and the remaining slots will essentially be divided between Asia, the Middle East, Oceania and the West coast of the United States — three compositions for each region.

The scheme of the event is a classic marathon for survival. Over the two days of the summit, the guys will roll back 12 matches — 6 skating rinks daily. Points are awarded for frags and final positions, so you definitely won’t be able to sit in the bushes. The winning team, in short, will take home the title of Major 1 Summit champions and a check for $200,000. Plus, the top five duos at the end of the weekend will receive direct tickets to the final championship of the year — Fortnite Global Championship.

FNCS Major 1 match schedule and broadcasts

Over two days of competition, participants will go through 12 games — six skating sessions per day. The start of each game block, as a rule, falls on the afternoon: for the European region it is approximately 16:00-17:00 UTC. There are technical pauses of 35-45 minutes between sessions — servers also need a reboot. The final game of the day ends around 19:00-20:00, which allows you to keep the audience at the screens until the very end.

The exact timings can change right up to the start of the tournament — Epic and BLAST traditionally make adjustments by region at the last moment. Stay tuned for updates on the official Fortnite Competitive website: the main events will take place on May 30-31 in Dusseldorf.

Where to watch FNCS Summit?

The Fortnite 2026 live stream will unfold on Twitch (Fortnite Competitive channel) and YouTube commentators will analyze each rotation and peak in real time. In addition, the broadcast is available directly inside the game via Legends Landing: there you can chat with other fans and receive drops — for example, sprays while watching. Regional streams will add a local flavor: the EU audience will find their content on Fortnite EU Twitch, and NA fans will find their content on NA Central. Casters like Aussie and Faxuty stream separately on their own channels.

Tickets, by the way, will be available for purchase at Eventim as early as March 2, 2026 — sales will start at 04:00 Eastern time. Those who don’t make it to Germany will be able to watch the show directly in the game via Legends Landing, which is also an option, to be honest.

The next stage after the FNCS Major 1 Summit: what to expect?

As soon as the screams of the fans in Dusseldorf die down, the focus will shift to the next stages of the series. It is worth considering that the second and third majors will be held online in all seven regions simultaneously.

The second tournament starts with prelims on July 20-21, and the final showdown is scheduled for August 8-9, 2026. The third stage will unfold in the fall: the preliminary games on September 21-22, the final on October 10-11, 2026. These events are critically important — it is there that the last lucky ones who will join the top 5 from Dusseldorf at the main tournament of the season will be determined.

The Fortnite Global Finals are scheduled for November 2026. We are waiting for a two—day debriefing of the 50 best teams in the world – 12 games that will decide the fate of the FNCS 2026 championship ring. It’s going to be epic, without exaggeration.
