The 2026 LCK MVP award goes to Chovy after a 148-point vote
Gen.G mid laner Chovy has won the 2026 LCK Regular Round MVP award. He received 148 points in the official vote and was also selected for the All-LCK First Team.
The vote recognized Chovy’s full regular season
The MVP award covers the complete LCK Regular Round. Chovy finished first with 148 points from the voting panel. His performances in the middle lane helped Gen.G remain one of the leading teams through the season. The award is separate from the Finals MVP. The league will name that winner only after the LCK final on 13 September. The award uses the complete regular round as its frame. It therefore measures more than one decisive series or one memorable performance. Chovy accumulated 148 points across the voting process and finished first. His result also matches his selection as the mid laner on the All-LCK First Team.
The third team includes Siwoo, Canyon, ShowMaker, Gumayusi and Career. Their positions follow the same order from top through support. Publishing three teams recognizes more strong regular-round performances without turning every role into one combined ranking. A support is judged against supports rather than against a high-damage carry. The Finals MVP remains open because the championship match has not yet been played. That award will be announced after the final on 13 September. Chovy’s present trophy cannot be removed by that result, and it should not be described as a prediction for the final. The league has already completed and published the regular-round vote.
Smash and cvMax received individual awards
DN Freecs player Smash won Rookie of the Year with 176 points. DRX coach cvMax received the Coach of the Year award with 141 points. The three awards recognize different parts of the competition. The rookie vote covers a player’s first major season, while the coach award reflects team preparation and results across the Regular Round. The first team contains players from three organizations. Zeus and Kanavi represent Hanwha Life Esports in the top and jungle roles. Chovy represents Gen.G in mid. Peyz and Keria represent T1 in the bottom lane and support positions. The positional format allows one player from each role to receive first-team recognition.
Smash’s Rookie of the Year vote produced 176 points, the largest stated total among the three individual awards. That number belongs to a separate ballot and should not be compared directly with Chovy’s 148 as if both players contested the same prize. Smash was recognized for his first major season, while Chovy won the overall regular-round award. Chovy’s award adds to Gen.G’s representation without giving the organization every first-team place. The published team spreads the five roles across Hanwha Life Esports, Gen.G and T1. That distribution reflects individual voting by position. It also shows why a team can finish strongly while players from several rivals still receive recognition.

Five players formed the All-LCK First Team
Zeus, Kanavi, Chovy, Peyz and Keria were selected for the first team. The group represents the top, jungle, mid, bot and support positions. The league also published second and third teams. Those selections give each position its own ranking and avoid comparing players with completely different roles. The second team offers a different combination. Kiin was selected in the top lane, Lucid in jungle and Zeka in mid. Ruler received the bottom-lane place, while Delight took support. Gen.G, Dplus KIA and Hanwha Life Esports are all represented in that group.
The coaching honour also uses its own criteria. Kim ‘cvMax’ Dae-ho received 141 points and was named Head Coach of the Year. Coaching work includes preparation, adaptation and the results of the team across the round. The award does not place a coach in the player ranking or change the five positions in the All-LCK selections. The Korean announcement identifies the winners by both playing name and full name. Chovy is Jeong Ji-hoon, Smash is Shin Geum-jae and cvMax is Kim Dae-ho. These names refer to the same three winners listed in the shorter international format. They are not additional recipients or separate versions of the awards.
