Shifters end their losing run with a clean 2-0 over Team Heretics

The opening game lasted 28 minutes and immediately placed Team Heretics under pressure. Shifters then maintained their objective preparation after the break between games.
The first game lasted 28 minutes
Shifters took the opening map in 28 minutes. A win at that speed reduced the time Team Heretics had to recover inside the game and gave Shifters the first draft advantage of the series. The opening-map lead did not complete the best-of-three, so the team still needed another win. The short break between games became the only chance for Team Heretics to change its priorities.
Each objective mattered because it opened territory or supported the next fight. Taking a dragon or tower is valuable when it opens territory or supports the next fight. Shifters’ clean series result indicates that the team converted enough of its advantages to finish both opposing Nexuses. Shifters converted enough objective control to destroy both opposing Nexuses.
Rooster supplied the highest kill total
Available match statistics list Rooster with six kills across the series, the highest total for one player. A kill count is only one part of top-lane impact, because pressure, teleport timing and survival also affect the map. The number is still a useful confirmed reference.
The statistical leaders support the team result without replacing it. Rooster’s kills, Hype’s farm and Stend’s participation measure different parts of play. Kills, farm and participation measure different roles and remain separate statistics. Together they show contribution across top, bot and support roles. The final result remains the most important statistic because it records the two completed maps.
Hype led the recorded creep score
Hype finished as the top creep scorer with 271. That figure reflects time spent collecting lane and neutral resources, but its meaning depends on game length and role. Shifters converted farm into a series win, which gives the number practical context. Comparing the total with an unrelated match would be less useful because the available minutes and champion demands may differ.
Team Heretics now have to review why the planned answers did not secure either map.

A useful review separates lane problems, objective setup and the final attempts to defend the base instead of calling the whole series one bad moment.
Stend was involved in most team kills
Stend recorded 92 percent kill participation in the available series data. High participation shows that the support was present for much of Shifters’ successful action. It does not mean every move began with the same player. Vision setup, lane coverage and objective preparation can contribute before a kill appears in the scoreboard.
The completed score changes the table, not the past
Shifters entered the day after several losses, while Team Heretics had also shown uneven form. The result adds one series win and two map wins to Shifters’ record. It does not rewrite earlier matches. Riot’s table updates after the remaining Week 6 matches and tie rules are applied.
Shifters built the first win by arriving earlier around major objectives and protecting the routes into the river. Team Heretics often had to approach through narrow entrances after vision had already been removed. That allowed Shifters to start fights on favourable terms instead of reacting after the objective was under threat.
The second game required the same discipline with a different match state. Shifters did not turn an early advantage into rushed attacks. They cleared waves, reset together and returned with completed items before forcing the next contest. Those short pauses reduced the chance of giving Team Heretics an isolated target.
A 2-0 score can hide the work between fights. Shifters repeatedly moved their side lanes before grouping, so the opposing team had to choose between defending structures and matching numbers near the objective. That map pressure created cleaner decisions and limited the opportunities for a direct comeback.
The result closes one match rather than solving every problem from the wider LEC run. Its value comes from the clear process shown in both games: secure information, prepare the area and finish the advantage without unnecessary risk. Repeating that sequence against a different draft will be the next measure of progress.
Both wins belong to the same completed series, so the final match score is 2-0.
