The Fortnite and Toy Story collaboration has finally launched. And no, it’s not a joke—iconic Pixar characters have landed on the island. Buzz Lightyear, Emperor Zurg, a charming alien, and the famous Pizza Planet truck are already here. It’s a shame Woody and Jessie weren’t in the first wave. But here’s a hint: after the release of Toy Story 5 (June 19), the developers may well roll out a second wave of cosmetics. Keep your fingers crossed.

Toy Story Skins in Fortnite: All Characters and Collaboration Details

The Fortnite and Pixar collaboration is largely a cosmetic pack, as well as a drop compiled to reflect the media buzz surrounding the franchise. Buzz Lightyear, Zurg, an alien, and the Pizza Planet truck have all made it into the game. The line operates on two levels: fan service for the audience and a commercial pack with varying price points.
Why the collaboration is coming now: Toy Story 5 announcement
The skins’ release is directly tied to the media window surrounding Toy Story 5—the premiere is scheduled for June 19th. The second wave of cosmetics looks quite expected. The first batch covered the base characters and several themed items, while Woody and Jessie are being held back for now. A typical move for Epic Games: they start with the most recognizable faces, and add the rest later.
How the Fortnite store works: pricing and purchasing system
The familiar Fortnite mechanics apply here. Some items are sold individually, others are packaged in bundles, and the most expensive items obscure the storefront and encourage additional purchases of related cosmetics. Toy Story skins are more conveniently collected in stages: first, you get the key character, then you get emotes, pickaxes, capes, and vehicles to match the overall theme.
When Fortnite Shop Skins Appear and Disappear
The sales window for these drops is often limited. Once they leave the shop, individual items may not return for a long time—or at all. Keep an eye on the Fortnite Shop rotation and the collaborations section to avoid missing out.
Buzz Lightyear in Fortnite: Skin, Price, and All Set Items

Buzz Lightyear Bundle — Items
The outfit itself costs 1600 V-Bucks and comes with the built-in “Lightyear Wings” glider. A nice bonus: the skin has several styles—you can remove or equip the helmet, and you can also activate the reactive lighting that glows in the dark. The “Until Infinity…” emote for 400 V-Bucks is especially noteworthy. When activated, you’ll hear Tim Allen’s iconic line. Yes, that same one.
Emperor Zurg in Fortnite: Outfit, Price, and Contents

Emperor Zurg Bundle — Items
Zurg is slightly cheaper at 1500 V-Bucks. The outfit includes the “Zurg Blaster Pack” cape, which can be obtained separately for 400 coins. Unlike Buzz, Emperor Zurg doesn’t have built-in gliders or emotes. However, there is a duo pack: “Buzz Lightyear and Emperor Zurg” for 3,400 V-Bucks. It contains 10 items, both costumes. The alien and the Pizza Planet truck, unfortunately, are not included in the pack. They may appear later, in the second wave we mentioned at the beginning.
Toy Story Alien in Fortnite: How to Get and Level Up

Alien Partner Experience Rewards
The alien itself is the “Buddy.” Only you and your allies can see it, but enemies cannot. The price: 1,500 V-Bucks. Then, you level up: complete missions, earn experience along with it, and unlock the bonuses from the table above. By the way, there’s also a bundle for 2,000 V-Bucks. Inside is the “Alien Slippers” pickaxe. You save about 500 coins if you buy them individually.
Pizza Planet Truck in Fortnite: Price, Customization, and Bonus in Rocket League

Pizza Planet Vehicle — Customization
The truck costs 2,000 V-Bucks. It’s an “Off-Road” body. After purchase, it will automatically appear in Rocket League—a nice bonus for those who play both games. Customization on the spot: change the decals to suit your taste – original design, Buzz version, Zurg version and other options.
