Worried that Fortnite will soon become a content desert? Epic Games likely thinks otherwise. Judging by leaks from deep within the industry, we’re in for more than just a replenishment—a whole flurry of new features.
As a reminder, Epic recently shut down several modes. The core modes—Zero Build and classic Battle Royale—are staying put, but the fate of the secondary formats was up in the air. But it seems the removed modes will be replaced with more than enough.

Seven modes in development—and that’s no joke
Insider @Loolo_WRLD has revealed a piece of data: “Epic is working on a HUGE number of new modes.” The number? Seven. Moreover, the source didn’t just name the number—they revealed codenames and hints about the nature of each.
Here’s what we know:
-
WickedSmoke—the next “social” format, something in the spirit of Delulu.
-
UnableRoman — the previously leaked TDM (Team Deathmatch).
-
Rivalry — a mech mode, but set in the Lego universe.
-
CurioBox — another new Lego mode (also leaked before).
-
MatchMist — a new mode or map tied to Reload.
-
BabyCorgi — likely related to Ballistic.
-
Bulldog and Husky — the most interesting part here: a tie-in to the Disney mode.
From team deathmatches to Lego mechs, the selection is, to put it mildly, diverse. If the leaks are true, there won’t be a dull moment.
When to expect it? Silence for now
There are no specific dates. None. The developers aren’t sharing any details. As usual, it’s not official yet, not 100 percent. But it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on new leaks: Epic never sleeps, and Fortnite continues to add modes like a Christmas tree with ornaments. Incidentally, the mention of Disney is particularly intriguing—maybe they’ll open the door to new collaborations? Time will tell. Plans, as we know, are subject to change.
