Even before its release, Forza Horizon 6 unexpectedly quickly broke into the top Steam sales — and this is the case when the excitement is felt not only on paper, but also by the real interest of the players. The new installment of the iconic racing series from Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games is already collecting impressive pre-orders, although there is still time before the release.
The PC audience is particularly active in responding. The game has already reached tenth place among the bestsellers on Steam and continues to rise higher, literally breathing down Crimson Desert’s back. And this is despite the fact that the launch is still ahead: early access for owners of the Premium edition will open on May 15, and the full release will take place on May 19.

Interestingly, such a surge of interest did not arise from scratch. The developers took a rather bold step — they showed the game in advance and without too much gloss. The journalists were given preview codes, allowed to publish the gameplay, and a lot of “live” content quickly appeared on the network. Players were able to see how Forza Horizon 6 looks and feels in practice, including improved steering wheel support and overall driving quality.
And it seems to have played a key role. When you don’t see the trailer, but the actual gameplay, trust in the game comes naturally. Especially against the background of how the project looks on the Xbox Series X — an almost photorealistic picture does its job and only strengthens the desire to try the game yourself.
As a result, it seems that Forza Horizon 6 sells itself not with promises, but with what it already shows. And if the current pace continues, the game risks becoming one of the biggest hits of the year even before the official release, simply because players already understand what they are paying for.
